Second Monthly Challenge Just Magnolia Altered Paper Bag....

I hope you are all well and enjoying the start to your week. Today we have the start of a new challenge on our Second Monthly Challenge at Just Magnolia. We were given the idea by our very own amazingly talented Rach to alter a paper bag. Well, panic or what! This is what I came up with and in the end I really enjoyed myself. So, thank you so much Rach for your brilliant idea.

The front of my bag I coloured my image with distress inks and distressed the background with antique linen and frayed burlap. I stamped my borders with frayed burlap too. I used the nestie die cut for my sentiment. I have distressed my flowers with frayed burlap .

These are pages from the inside. Again I have coloured with distress inks and added ribbon and lace to my layers.

These are the tags that I have tucked inside my bag. I cut some bazzill for my tag shape and distressed everything with antique linen and frayed burlap. The heart I have distressed with frayed burlap and then sprayed with glimmer mist.

This is the back of my bag I die cut my shape from my nesties and sprayed the background with glimmer mist. I then stamped onto vellum and cut out my butterfly then ran this through the cuttlebug to emboss it. Finally adding some stickle glue for glitter.

Just Magnolia week 13 - Mina's Sketch....

Good Morning,

Such a beautiful morning here today and a new challenge for Just Magnolia. We have a gorgeous sketch by the fabulous Mina this week. Thank you so much Mina this was just wonderful to work with and will love using this again. Do go and see the other amazing dt cards using Mina's sketch they are just too delicious!

I have coloured my card with distress inks. I masked my little cutie from the Magnolia 09 Summer Kit and have her sitting on a beach breaker. The background is distressed with antique linen and frayed burlap. I have mounted her on a nestie die cut. I have distressed my papers with Tim's distressing tool and edged them with frayed burlap. I 3d the butterflies and heart and added some stickles for some glitter.

Terrific Tuesday....

Hope you are all ok. I was so happy to receive the Summer Kit from Magnolia and couldn't wait to ink them up. I have coloured my image with distress inks. Then added stickles for some sprinkly spronkly. I have distressed the background with antique linen, tattered rose and frayed burlap.

I have taken a picture of my precious girls to share with you. Isabella is two months and is a little angel.

Just Magnolia week 12 - So Charming.....

I hope everyone is well. Boy oh boy how hot was it last night. So not used to this crazy heat and my poor dogs they are panting for Britian!

Today we have the start of a new challenge at Just Magnolia. The theme this week is So Charming. The dt have made the most fabulous cards so please go and see you will be totally inspired. I have coloured my image with distress inks. The background is distressed with weathered wood and frayed burlap. I have die cut my image using my nesties.

Enjoying the Journey........

Well the weather is just fantastic at the moment I am talking hot, hot, hot! If you are experiencing the same take care out there. Oh now is the time when I wish I had a pool.

I have made a card today using the images sent to me in my Magnolia dt kit. I have coloured them with distress inks. I then masked the car and sprayed my background with ivory lace glimmer mist. I have distressed the edge with fired brick and frayed burlap. I have also added some stickle glue. The butterfly I have 3d and also stickled it.

Just Magnolia Tutorial Challenge ...............

After much thought we have decided to split the challenges into three seperate blogs as it's going to get rather confusing trying to run the weekly and monthly challenges simuntaneously on one blog.

So, today we launch our second monthly challenge on the new blog which will be based around the challenges that our Featured Stampers do for us.
