Sarah Kay Weekly challenge...............

Hi,
Here is my entry for the Sarah Kay weekly challenge. The theme this week is True Blue. So here is my blue card. I stamped my image with versafine and coloured her with pencil and sansador. I have cut out scallop with cuttlebug. I have distressed my card with broken china. The swirls are katzelcraft. The letters are grungeboard sprayed with glimmer mist and I have covered them with glossy accents. The little stars are quickutz. I also sprayed the flowers with glimmer mist.
Still praying for water.

Kadoodle DT card.....

Hello,

Today I am feeling mostly disgusting! We haven't had any water since 5pm last night eew can't have my normal 200 million showers. Oh I hope it comes on soon, the water company said midday, please, please, please let that be true. Or I will soon be known as the stinky Kim, let alone any washing machine, dishwasher and don't go there with the loo's. Anyhoo in the meantime here is another Kadoodle DT card made from the kit sent to me. This is Amelia, I have coloured her with pencil and sansador. The circle is cut out using the cuttlebug. I have hand sewn with silver thread. The swirls are embelliscrap. Well signing off from the slightly high kim x

Penny Black Saturday Challenge............

Hello,

Hope your Sunday is going well. Such a beautiful day here, we are so lucky today. The challenge for Penny Black Saturday this week is Seasons. I, in honour of our gorgeous day have chosen Summer. I have stamped my image with distress inks shabby shutters and spiced marmalade. Then I have sprayed this with water before stamping. I distressed whole card with spiced marmalade and then using perfect pearls in water sprayed whole of card. Hope this isn't too long winded. I have then mounted this onto brown bazzill.

Kadoodle DT card

Hello,

I have made this card with the Kadoodle dt pack sent to me. This is James I have stamped in versafine, coloured with pencil and sansador. For his hat I added glitter and the berries diamond glaze. The snowflakes behind James are paperartsy. There is a lot of stickles but not sure if they show up too well. The strip behind James is punched with a fiskars border punch.

Tilda & Co Challenge..........

Hope your week has been good so far. The challenge at Tilda & Co is to make a card for under £1. Well, I found this quite daunting, as I never think about what all the bits and pieces cost as I start to make my card. I decided to keep it as simple as possible so I wouldn't have to add up and calculate too much. My brain would not be able to cope. I stamped Tilda with versafine and coloured her in with distress inks. The scalloped oval I distressed with aged mahogany, stamped with katzelcraft and sprayed with silver glimmer mist. The basic grey paper I distressed with aged mahogany and stamped magenta corners and used inkssentials to colour the flowers. The little hearts I stamped with paper artsy and added inkssentials detail. I also added liquid pearls platinum to my card to add depth.

The cost of my card is as follows. Card 10p, basic grey paper 16p, white and black card 20p, ribbon 10p total cost 56p. phew!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge.............

Hello,

It is so beautiful here today yipee!

The challenge for Penny Black Saturday is to complete more than the front of your card. The stamps I have used are all Penny Black which I have coloured with pencils and sansadored. The wording I have embossed with metallic bronze.

The middle of my card I have used the fiskars sunburst punch, and cuttlebug dies.

The back also cuttlebug dies. I have edged my cardstock with gold pen.

I have seen that Whiff of Joy are looking for entries for a Guest designer. Katharina has asked that if you would like to be considered, that you make a card using one of her sketches with any stamp, post it on your blog and link it back to her. This is the card that I have made. I have used the hanglar stamped image that the lovely Lorraine sent to me. I have been hoarding these, but couldn't resit any longer. I have coloured my image with pencil and sansador and the background with twinkling h2o's. The paper I have used is basic grey and backed onto bazzill.

Hope everyone is well, and this morning I am posting my entry for the Sarah Kay Weekly challenge. For this you need to use 3 different designer papers. I have coloured my image with coloursoft and sansadored. I have then distressed with milled lavender and the swirls are katzelcraft. The 3 design papers are My Minds Eye I hope you can see them in the photo as I have covered them with vellum. I have sprayed with glimmer mist and the strip of dp I have swiss dotted.

Hope your weekend was restfull and all is good with you. The challenge this week for Tilda & Co Challenge is Chocolate delight pink and white. I have used my Tilda with a chocolate cup cake coloured with distress inks. The little choc cupcakes are woodware. My sentiment is quickutz. The rubon border is cosmo cricket. I have used my leave it to weaver fiskars punch to add the ribbon.

Wow the weather is wonderful at the moment it makes me feel so good. Hope you are having some of the same. I made this card for Cute Card Thursday the theme for this week is to have a Cat or Dog on your creation. I have coloured in my image with distressed inks. The paper I have distressed with vintage photo and then glimmer misted with gold. I have also ink distressed and glimmer misted the flower. The hearts are paperartsy stamped in brilliance olive.

Hope everything is good and here is my entry for this week's Sarah Kay Weekly. We had to follow a sketch, for this I have coloursoft and sansadored my image. The scallop shape is distressed with antique linen and vintage photo. For the strip to the side I have used Fiskars Threading water punch. The swirls are quickutz.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge............

The theme for this week's challenge on Penny Black Saturday is One for the girls.So this had to be pink yay! and I had forgotten I had this stamp which seems so girly so had to use it. I coloured her in coloursoft pencils and sansadored. I mounted her on cuttlebug shapes one swiss dotted and the scallop one is in sprinkly spronkly card. The word wishes and little stars are quickutz. The swirls are katzelcraft I am crazy about those at the moment. I dotted outside edges with inkessentials pen.

2 Sketches 4 You..............

I would like to say a very BIG thankyou to you all, for your lovely messages of get well. They helped me on my way to recovery and I feel great now hurray! you are all simply the best and I can tell you they cheered me up no end thankyou. So without further ado this is my entry for the 2 Sketches 4 You by the extremely talented Laura. Ok, this was right out of my comfort zone but as I got into it I really enjoyed taking part. I layered my card with bazzill and MME which I distressed with brilliance. The scallop was cut with cuttlebug, alcohol inked with silver and then embossed with swiss dots. Tim Holt's numbers distressed with aged mahogany then glimmer misted and stamped with french script. The key was a glimmer mist die and misted. The swirls around the sentiment are paper artsy.

Tilda & Co Challenge.....

Hello at last,

I have been absent from my blog due to a gastric flu bug, which has left me feeling horrible, but so glad to be back into the world of blog land. Hope you have all been keeping well, I am so looking forward to visiting your blogs long time no see. I have so enjoyed my time in my craft room again and I have made a card for the Tilda & Co Challenge which this week is titled Envelope Art.

I have coloured my little Tilda with distress inks and h2o's. I have stickled her wings with star dust. The papers I have used are s.e.i. The little envelope I have attached is from K&Co., The little heart is a bazzill chip covered with paper. The swirls are katzelcraft. Inside the envelope is a message it's your day! by woodware.

Tilda & Co Challenge...

I have just had a big panic up, as my computer was acting really weird. I so don't want anything to be wrong, I need my cyber blogging friends, fingers crossed it all keeps ok. This week at Tilda & Co. the theme is embossing, so for my card I have embossed the bottom dp and stip to the side. I have coloured Tilda with distressed inks. Ew er I feel really nervous hope this all works.
