A Spoon Full of Sugar..........................

Hello,

I am still in love my new Magnolia's here is the next card made with my new stamps. Also, I am really enjoying the new Wassill Basic Grey papers, they are so lovely to work with. This week's challenge over at A Spoon Full of Sugar is Sparkle and Bling. Well I have waited and waited to take a photo of my card because the weather is so gloomy but in the end had to go with it. So you can't see much sparkle and bling, but, it is there I promise. I have coloured my little cutie with distress inks. I have added gold paint to the swirls, the background paper and on Tilda's heart and holly in her hair. I have glimmer misted the paper with the swirls on and on the tulle bow. The sentiment stamps I have used adirondack pesto and I have distressed all my card with this ink. I have been asked who my sentiment stamp is by it is Kelly Panacci.

Here is my entry for this week's Sarah Kay Weekly challenge. This week we had to include an animal/s on your card. I have coloured my image with pencil and sansador. I have used the Tim Holtz tool to distress the edges and used vintage photo and milled lavender to distress with.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy............................

I was so excited yesterday when I puchased some new Magnolia's. After I lovingly took them out of my bag I just had to use them. Here is my first go using the sketch this week for the challenge on Friday Sketchers by the brilliant Claudia Rosa.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink and stickled her wings. My papers I have distressed with tattered rose and new mahogany. I have stamped the sentiment and snowflake with archival plum. I have added stickles to the tulle (think that's how you spell it) to add a bit of sparkle.

I have coloured my Tilda with distress inks. I have layered her onto vellum with sparkle on. On the bazzill I have stamped snowflakes with versafine grey.

My card today is for the Penny Black Saturday challenge. The theme this week is Thanks a Bunch. I have coloured my image with distress inks, and added glitter to the flowers and on the prima flowers. I have cuttlebuged the circle and scallop. The bazzill cardstock I have distressed with galaxy gold brilliance.

Sarah Kay Weekly...............

Good Morning,

A big hello to everyone, today I have made a card for the Sarah Kay Weekly challenge which is Doodles. I remember I used to doodle over everything and I have a book by Lindsay Ostrom with fabulous ideas. So I dug it out and got doodling. I think I need a bit more practice, but it was great getting back to my doodling side. My image has been coloured with pencil and sansador. The strip of paper has been punched with the fiskars punch.

So good to be back to blogging. My card for today is for the Cute Card Thursday challenge.

This week it is Buttons and Bows. Well I am loving the bows so my image is Magnolia stamped in versafine and coloured with distress inks. I have sticky fix mounted her onto two papers cuttlebug died. I have distressed papers with Tea Dye and Vintage photo. My flower border I have used Gelly Roll sparkly pen in the centers.

Cute Card Thursday...............

Here is my entry into Cute Card Thursday. The theme this week is Christmas Animals. I have used a penguin from Whipper Snapper. I have coloured him with distress inks. For the snowflakes and stars I have used metal sprayed with glimmer mist, then die cut using cuttlebug. I saw this method of glimmer misting the metal at The Craft Barn demo by Leandra from Paperartsy. There is a paperartsy stamp in the left hand corner. Doesn't show up too well. I have used versamark and then on top of that I have used perfect pearls. It says Do Not Open Until Dec 25 .I have distressed card with antique linen and vintage photo.

Tilda & Co. Challenge................

Hello,

Well water back on after 24 hours (horrible). This morning we had a power cut for 5 hours, so having fun this week. This week at Tilda & Co., we were given a sketch to follow. I loved this sketch it was lovely to work with and will definitely use it again. I have coloured my Tilda with distress inks. The paper I have used is lasting impressions paper and bazzill which I distressed with tattered rose.
