Sketch Saturday....................

Hello,

Happy Monday hope your holiday has been wonderful. I can't believe it is going so quickly. Today I have made a card for the challenge over at Sketch Saturday which is your choice of any of the sketches so far. I have coloured my image with distress inks and added glitter pen to the flowers. I have distressed around my image with milled lavender. My papers I have distressed around the edges with Tim's distressing tool.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Today I have been playing with my new stamps from Funky Kits by the fabulous designer Leanne Ellis. I was most impressed with the fabulous service of Funky Kits so super quick. I have coloured my image with pencil and sansador. I have distressed the background with distress inks weathered wood and antique linen. I have stamped the paper artsy stamps on the red paper with versafine sepia, and edged my papers with black distress ink. For the little heart I distressed with antique linen and stamped with sepia and edged with vintage photo.

I so hope that everyone is not feeling too stressed and that your Christmas preparations are going well. Not long now! Today I would like to post my entry for the Cute Card Thursday challenge. I have used the gorgeous WOJ image and coloured her with distress inks. I have distressed around my image with antique linen and then edged all my papers with vintage photo. The borders are stamped with versafine sepia. I have also added a little stickle onto her wings.

I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful 2009!

StampARTic challenge.........................

Hi,

For this week's StampARTic challenge they would like to see a Birthday card with a winter theme and to include the colour lilac/purple. I have coloured my image with distressed inks. I have mounted her on a Maya road swirl which I have painted with rangers dabber paint in silver and added glitter. The snowflakes are stamped with cotton white stazon.

Cute Card Thursday.....................

Hello,

Good morning hope every one is good today. It is just so glorious here. There is a covering of thick frost every where and it is sparkling like crazy in the sun. I have made my card for this week's CCT challenge which is to include Hearts on your card. I have coloured my image with distress inks. The heart that I have 3d her onto is a Bazzill chip and I have painted this with milled lavender crackle paint. The paper is basic grey and I have added some swirls stamped with sepia versafine. The sentiment is die cut using quickutz distressed with vintage photo and all the papers I have edged with krylon gold. The flower is glittered to within an inch of it's life, and I have put this onto some fibers from bazzill.

The lovely Kathleen has given me this award. I have already passed this on so please feel free to lift this from my blog if you have not received this as I love visiting all your brilliant blogs.

StampARTic challenge...................

Well I was so looking forward to the start of the StampARTic blog. Which has the most fabulous designers who will be giving us all sorts of new technique's and articles. For their first challenge the most brilliant Camilla has used a folder technique. For my image I have coloured her in with distress inks. I have used a die cut from basic grey and distressed this with old paper and stamped paperartsy swirls to mount my Tilda on. I have also used old paper to distress the rest of my papers and the swirls on my patterned paper are stamped in versafine vintage sepia. I have die cut cuttlebug circles for the inside of my card and stamped another magnolia stamp on this.

Today I have made a card for the Friday Sketchers challenge. This week it is Carole who has given us a fabulous sketch to follow thank you Carole. For my image I have coloured her with distress inks. I have distressed all my papers with pine needles. My snowflakes, and papers I have also sprayed with silver glimmer mist.
