Winter days......

Hello,

I hope you have all had a good week and are now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in your Christmas preparations. I went to my Grandson Luca's Nursery Christmas Nativity and here he is as Joseph. I was so very proud of him as he had so many lines and well quite frankly was totally awesome! How utterly sweet is Mary too. It was a wonderful Nativity all the little ones were so good and it will be such a treasured memory.

I just wanted to share with you the winter wonderland that I woke up to this morning. It is so rare to see snow and lasts such a short time I had to capture it. Doesn't everything look so magical in the snow. This view is from my bedroom window looking out to the beginning of my lane.

This is one of the trees in my garden. One of the pleasures of where I live is the birdsong as we are surrounded by so many trees.

I wish you a wonderful weekend and thank you for your visit.

love

kim x

What wonderful photos Kim, all of them.

Luca does look adorable as Joseph. I have a similar photo of my son as Joseph (he's 31 now) and I will never forget how he cried when he told me he'd been picked for that part. When I asked why he was so upset he said he wanted to be the donkey!

Awww, how sweet and handsome Luca is. You've got a star in the making :)

I am TOTALLY jealous of your snow.. and I make no apologies, lol. I would LOVE to have my kids experience some decent snowfall. We rarely get any and when we do it's gone within an hour as it rains quickly after it. Enjoy your winter wonderland and don't forget to build a snowman!!

How lovely Joseph & Mary are Kim! no wonder you swelled with pride, who wouldn't! and how nice you were allowed to take photos! and Wow! the snow!!! what part of WSx are you? we used to be in Aldwick, West Bognor, It's going to be a shock when we return, after almost 7 years of heat! and we are going to Norfolk where it will be colder I think: brrr! have a lovely weekend xx

Of course you are proud! And what a great photo of the adorable children! :)

Your outdoor winter photos are fab, too! Yes, it's beautiful with the snow like that! :) Have to tell you we have more snow than that here in Tromsø (up north in Norway). It arrived, at last!! And I hope it lasts for a while now. I'm always dreaming of a white Christmas. My son hasn't been able to go skiing before now, this winter. It's a bit strange, cause we usually have more snow that stays, earlier than December.

have a splendid weekend! I can hear distant jingle bells!.. *lol* Christmas time is near!!

Hugs, Hege
