The Sugar Bowl.........................

Hi,

The next challenge over at The Sugar Bowl is Love and Romance. For my card I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have distressed the background with tattered rose, worn lipstick and dusty concord. The hearts and little flowers I have alcohol inked some acetate and cuttledbuged the hearts then swiss dotted them. The little flowers are a punch. The circle sentiment is from Aud and the word sentiment is from crafty individuals. I have itemised the products for this card in the labels below.

A Spoon Full of Sugar.........

Hello,

This week over at A Spoon Full of Sugar the challenge is Love is in the Air. For my card I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have mounted this onto mulberry paper and distressed this with tattered rose, vintage photo and old paper. I have added some tiny gold beads. The hearts are bazzill shapes and I have covered these with paper print and distressed with vintage photo.

I was dreading looking but then I found it was a photo of my Grandson Luca when he was about 8 months. He has the greatest sense of humour and laughs all the time. We call this his friesian period!

Today I would like to post the card I have entered into the Friday Sketchers challenge. It is a sketch by Beatrix. Thank you I have loved playing with your gorgeous sketch. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have used tattered rose and aged mahogany to distress my papers. The grungeboard swirl and nameplate I have crackle painted in milled lavender and then painted the edges with silver paint.

Hello,

This week over at Friday Sketchers Mumur has given us another wonderful sketch to follow. Thank you Mumur I loved working with this and will definitely use again. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have distressed the background with vintage photo, antique linen and pine needles. I have distressed my papers with vintage photo. To blend my flowers with the colour scheme I have used glimmer mist. I have also glimmer misted the lace which was given to me by my sweet friend Bev. Thanks so much I love it.

The Sugar Bowl........................

Great to be at the weekend! My card today is for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl and the criteria is to use three papers, and three elements. My papers are from Dianes Daughters and my three elements are silver heart, flower and ribbon. I have coloured my image with distress inks. For the background I have used milled lavender, dusty concord and vintage photo. I have added some brilliance white to the edges of my papers.

Sketch and Stash Challenge #1

Hello,

Well, I have had the most frustrating time of it! No electricity for 6 hours not funny. Then I finished my card and thought you know, I think I will add some swirls in brown. Not a good idea as I was adding said swirls. I dropped my stamp mid inking right in the middle of my card! I thought I might cry and then stormed out of my room. So today I had to start again but minus swirls. So here it is my card for the new challenge Sketch and Stash . I was thrilled to have won last weeks blog candy on offer WOJ Willow with umbrella. Which Becky sent with the most sweetest card. Thank you Becky. So as this challenge is all about using new or never used stash this was the perfect time for me to use my brand new stamp. I have coloured with distress inks. I have added some blue glitter pen for the raindrops. I glimmer misted my flowers. The amazingly talented Aud showed us her beautiful pin creations. So I had a go at making my own which was great fun. Thank you so much Aud for your wonderful inspiration.

A Spoon Full of Sugar...................

Hope everyone is ok. Today I have a card for the challenge A Spoon Full of Sugar . This week it is a sketch by the fabulously talented Nikki. I have loved working with this Nikki so thank you so much. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have distressed my background with dried marigold, spiced marmalade, and mustard seed. My flowers I have sprayed with gold glimmer mist. For the spacers in the centre of the flowers I have used gold alcohol ink as the spacers were silver and I wanted to match the gold star.

The Magnolia Vs Stampavie challenge is in full swing again. This week it is a sketch by Donna and a Thankyou theme. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have then distressed the background with antique linen, milled lavender and edged with dusty concord. I have stamped my corner stamp with antique linen. I have distressed the patterned paper with milled lavender. My sentiment is stamped with archival plum.

Penny Black Saturday...............

Hope you are keeping warm if it is cold with you. My card is an entry in this week's challenge over at Penny Black Saturday. The theme this week is embossing. I have used my cuttlebug for this and have embossed the stiped paper and used a border embossing die for the top and bottom of the paper behind my image. I have coloured my image with distress inks and added some stickles for the flower and the bee. The flowers are made using punches. The corner is from a quickutz die. I have distressed with tattered rose and vintage photo for the background card.

A new challenge is born and I couldn't wait to join in. You are to include a Sugar Nellie stamp on your entry and I have fallen in love with their beautiful stamps.
