Whiff Of Joy - gdt card............................

Hello,

I have made a card today using one of the newly released WOJ stamps Confirmand Melinda. I have coloured her with distress inks and added a touch of stickles. The base scallop has been die cut and embossed with the cuttlebug. The little flowers are quickutz die cut and distressed with brushed cordroy.

I have received this award from the fabulous Tab who makes the most amazing creations do go and say hello you will be blown away! Thank you so much Tab. I would like to pass this onto everyone who visits my blog as a big thank you for all your support!

Colour Create Challenge #9 Lilac and Blue

Hello,

Hope your weekend is going well. For this week's challenge on Colour Create the lovely Sharon has set us the colours Lilac and Blue with the option of ribbon and swirls but this is not compulsory. Also Tara has added candy this week! My card has been made on shiny cardstock. I first used alcohol ink to this. Then added distress inks, colours milled lavender, dusty concord and broken china with blending foam. I stamped my image with stazon. The hearts are die cut using quickutz. Whiff of Joy GDT card.......................

I have made a card using the sweet Musing Melinda image from the new release Whiff of Joy Guardian Angel collection. I have coloured her with distress inks. I added the WOJ clouds using the masking technique. I have glimmer misted the flowers, grungeboard, and scalloped frame. I distressed the edges of my paper with tim holtz distressing tool. The WOJ heart has been 3d.

Truly Scrumptious challenge #3.................

Today I have made a card for the Truly Scrumptious challenge which is a sketch by Beth. Loved this Beth so thank you. I have coloured with distress inks. The paper is distressed with antique linen and brushed corduroy. The flowers have been sprayed with glimmer mist. As has the heart and I have added a heart jewel on this too. I have added lots of sparkle around my image frame on the swirls and around my sentiment.

Friday Sketchers Challenge..........................

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I have made a card for this week's Friday Sketchers Challenge which is a gorgeous sketch by Bea. Thank you Bea this was lovely to work with. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I used weathered wood and vintage photo to distress the background and added some liquid pearls around the edge. The little hearts are from the new release of Whiff of Joy stamps I love them. I have added some sprinkly spronkly glue onto the tiny flowers.

Colour Create Challenge week 8................

We are on week 8 of our Colour Create challenge. The lovely Sarita has set this weeks colours and they are Navy, Turquoise and Lime with the optional extra of no designer paper. Sarita creates the most stunning cards so if you haven't already please do go and visit her. Sarita's creations are out of this world!

For my card this week I have made my own background using first a brad to cover my linen paper. Then adding colour gradually with blending foam. To get a shimmer I sprayed on a mixture of water and perfect pearls in a mini mister. Then I have splattered water over this to get some water marks and depth. For my image I covered my stamp with distress ink and then using a mini mister sprayed water onto the stamp before stamping out my image. Then without inking again kept spraying water between each stamp onto my image until I used up all of my ink. Then I blended more colour around the image with blending foam.

Whiff of Joy sneak peak..............................

Well here we are at the weekend! Yesterday I spent the day in the hospital with my Daughter and her husband because my Grandson was having his 7th operation in 3 years on his eyes. Thankfully everything went ok so I can now relax and enjoy this beautiful weekend. My Daughter deserves an extra special Mothers Day tomorrow as she is the best Mother in the world to her son and I am so proud of her. Especially as she is very unwell and on steroids with her asthma at the moment plus being 33 weeks pregnant. So I would like to take this opportunity to wish every Mother all over the world a very Happy Mothers Day tomorrow you all do so much with your love and nurture for our future generations.

Here is a card I made and I am so in love with this sweet, sweet boy. I have coloured him in with distress inks. I have distressed the background with antique linen. I have used glimmer mist on the flowers and leaves. I have also added glitter glue around the sentiment and the wings. Not long now until the release of these beautiful stamps by Elisabeth Bell for Whiff of Joy. The release date is Sunday 22nd 0:00GMT + 1. How exciting is that!

1st Day of Spring.........................

Hope you are all well on this first day of spring! Wow, those birds are really getting into the spring feel now with their dawn chorus it is so great to hear. This is a card I made for Georgia who is the sweetest young lady and makes amazing creations. I have coloured my image with distress inks. This is one of the fabulous images that I won in the most fabulous blog candy that Hanne was giving away. Thanks again Hanne your candy is so much fun to use and I am using it on everything I love it! I distressed the background with broken china. I also used this on all my paper and card stock.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge another peak.....

How fabulous is the weather at the moment. It is so glorious! Well the decorating is nearly finished now. Just the study and the cloakroom to finish and that's the downstairs done phew! Going to have a break before they start on the upstairs my nerves are shattered. I shouldn't complain because I am so happy with having everything looking fresh and new. But, it has been a nightmare keeping the girls away from the wet paint and especially the decorator as he is terrified of dogs!

Well my new Whiff of Joy Guardian Angel image by Elisabeth Bell to be released on the 22nd of March is coloured with distress inks. I have distressed the background with tattered rose and milled lavender. I have added some of the new swirls around my card they are so gorgeous to use. I love the new sentiments too they are so sweet. Oh go and check out the Whiff of Joy gallery and look at the fabulous new creations the design team have been adding they are just sensational!

ABC Challenge.........................

I have the privilege and honour to be invited by Vicky to be this weeks Guest Designer on the ABC challenge. This week it is F for flowers I just love flowers on my cards so how perfect was this for me. For my card I have coloured my image with distress inks. For the background I have used broken china, weathered wood and pine needles. I have also distressed my paper with pine needles. I have so loved everyone's flowers made using the ek success punches. But, I haven't been able to get hold of the right size so I used my quickutz dies, distressed them with pine needle, curled and edged them with gold pen. I sprayed the leaves with gold glimmer mist.

Whiff of Joy Gardian Angel sneak peak......................

Well, I received my new Whiff of Joy stamps so exciting. They are the new Guardian Angel stamps designed by Elisabeth Bell due to be released on Sunday 22nd . Boy oh boy are they gorgeous! It was such a tough choice to decide which one to choose first but, this little sweetie was calling to me. I have coloured her with distress inks. I have also used the new swirls. I have added these with perfect pearls at the bottom under my image. I have distressed vintage photo onto my flowers, added liquid pearls and glitter glue all around them. Also, there were such sweet new sentiments in my package and this is the one I chose.

Sketch Saturday #42

I have made a card to enter into this weeks Sketch Saturday. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have added glitter glue to the bubbles and flowers. I have distressed everything with broken china and pine needles. I made the flowers by punching out circles, distressing and layering. I have actually got hold of a MS punch yay! The fabulous Bev gave us the heads up that the Hobby House had them in stock, and it came so quickly, very impressed with the service. The button was a clear one and I put some paper behind and added some thread.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge...............

This week over at CCT they have a birthday celebration going on. They are one year old this week! Happy birthday CCT I have just loved joining in with your challenges. You give me so much inspiration with your fabulous DT creations thank you! We have been given a fantastic sketch to follow by the wonderfully talented Katharina. I love this and will definitely use this again thank you Katharina. For my entry I have coloured my sweet image with distress inks. I have distressed all my papers with Tim's distressing tool and then added vintage photo. My lace I have also distressed with vintage photo. The brad in the corner is part of the blog candy I won from Hanne (big kiss) I have added gold glitter glue to my flowers and leaves.

Colour Create....................

Hope you are all well. I have woken to a beautiful spring day and I feel good! This week over at Colour Create we have a Red, Green colour combination with the added option of wings. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have also 3d my image and pulled the top layer of wings out but my photograph does not made this easy to see sorry. To add a little shimmer I have painted perfect pearls onto her wings, dress and sentiment. I have also sprayed perfect pearls onto my paper using a mini mister.

Colour Create........................

But, it is not compulsory. I chose to make a bookmark. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have distressed my papers with spiced marmalade, peeled paint and mustard seed. Wow I am so mega happy......................

Hello everyone,
I am fit to bursting. So I just have to tell you that I have just seen that Katharina has chosen her guest designers for her Whiff of Joy stamps and I am one of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whiff of Joy Challenge.......................

Saturday today hurray! This is my entry into the WOJ challenge which is lavender and lace. I have coloured my image with distress inks. The background is distressed with milled lavender and dusty concord. The paper the image is mounted on I made by using a crackle stamp then embossing a Anna Griffin image with clear powder and brayering the card with milled lavender. I got the inspiration to do this from Sassa on StampARTic thank you so much Sassa this was great fun! I distressed the flowers with dusty concord. I have also added some glitter glue for a little bit of bling.

Magnolia Vs Stampavie.................

I have made a card for this week's challenge over at Magnolia Vs Stampavie. This week we are to use lace and pearls. My favorite! So for my image I have used distress inks. I have crackle painted my heart. The stamping has been done with versafine sepia. The side border has been punched using a fiskars punch and threaded with ribbon. I have distressed my flowers with tattered rose. On my paper I have added little diamonds and liquid pearls.

This is my entry into this week's challenge over at Friday Sketchers. It is to follow a sketch by Kristine. Thank you Kristine I loved playing with this. I have coloured my image with distress inks. I have distressed the background with broken china, mustard seed and spiced marmalade. I have distressed the paper with spiced marmalade and mustard seed. The brackets and tiny heart I have sprayed with glimmer mist. The die cut hearts are spiced marmalade, mustard seed and edged with vintage photo. The little pearls were in a gift of stash from sweet Bev.(hugs)

Colour Create Challenge...............................

It is week 5 over at Colour Create and the colour combination this week is Blue and Brown with the added option of Pearls and Lace. I have coloured my image with distress inks and for the background I have distressed with weathered wood and antique linen. I then added the crackle around the edges with versamark and added brown perfect pearls. The papers are distressed with the Tim Holtz distressing tool. Then I distressed with vintage photo. The flowers I sprayed with glimmer mist. The lace I distressed with antique linen. I added pearls to the hat pins. I also stamped and perfect pearled one of the blue layers of card. Then I added tiny pearls with liquid pearls and glitter glue to the card next to the flowers.
