Papertake Weekly Challenge.......

I hope you are are well and having a good start to your week.

Today is a very special day for me as I have the absolute honour of being the guest for this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge. Thank you so very much girls for inviting me I am thrilled to join you all, and Dawn it was a such a pleasure to use your wonderful sketch I am so going to use this again!

Here is Dawn's fabulous sketch.

I have coloured my image with distress inks. The background is distressed with tattered rose. I have masked this sweet Tilda so that she is sitting on the strawberry. The Magnolia's are from the Summer Lazy Days collection. That beautiful lace is from the lovely Bev thank you so much sweetie I love it! The heart is die cut using the cuttlebug.

Sweet baby celebrations.....

Thank you so much for all your kind words and support to me in my last post. I am humbled by your thoughtful kindness you have all be such a comfort it made such a difference knowing that you care big hugs to you all.

I have made this card for a sweet friend and hugely talented fellow dt member Jacqui.

Jacqui has been blessed with a beautiful Granddaughter and I am so happy for her. The love we have for our children's children is immense words cannot describe and I really enjoyed making this card.

I have coloured my image with distress inks. I embossed the background with a nestie and distressed it with tattered rose.

I have used Tim's tool to distress the edges of my paper and distressed these with vintage photo.

The circle sentiment is sprayed with glimmer mist for some shimmer.

A big thank you to Rach for the sweet charm it is just so cute!

Hope you are all well.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the wonderful ladies on my class yesterday at Crafts U Love. It was such a pleasure to spend such a lovely morning with you all and you were so patient with me. Thank you also to the lovely Paula and Tracy, who really looked after me and made everything just right!

This is a card I made a few weeks back when Crafts U Love had their 3rd Birthday celebration and I and the ladies had a quick class together during the weekend which was great fun.

I have been so lucky to have received these awards from some wonderful bloggers who just made my day by passing them onto me. Big hugs and kisses!

I also have some very sad news. My wonderful, beautiful, best friend in the whole world has passed away. As you can image this is a huge loss to me as I loved her with all my heart. She made it to a great age 17 and I had the most wonderful 17 years of my life with her by my side. I miss you my sweet friend.

Just Magnolia Monthly challenge - August....

Today is the start of a new monthly challenge for Just Magnolia. For the month of August. The challenge will be to make a 3d card. The amazingly talented Debby has given us a most fantastic tutorial which has been such a wonderful help to me so big thanks Debby.

Also this month's prize is a very generous $50!!! donated by our monthly challenge sponsor Simon Says Stamps how great is that!

I have coloured my Magnolia images with distress inks. The background has been distressed with tattered rose. I have also added stickles to Tilda and the butterfly for some sprinkly spronkly.

Today I have a Magnolia dt card I made using the Lazy Summer Days collection. I have coloured my image with distress inks. The frame was made by embossing a nestie shape onto my card. I have masked Tilda onto her bathing ring the background is distressed with milled lavender.

I have been sent two awards by two very sweet and lovely girls. Thank you so very much big hugs and kisses to you both.

Your so sweet - Magnolia dt card.....

Hope your weekend is going well. I have woken to a most beautiful day so I hope that the weather is being kind to you too.

This is a Magnolia dt card using the Lazy Summer Days kit. I have coloured my image with distress inks. The sentiment is stamped out in versafine sepia, distressed with tattered rose and sprayed with glimmer mist. I have die cut the flowers using quickutz. The butterfly and small roses were in my dt kit.
