Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Red and Green....

Hello,

Wow! a huge thank you to everyone who helped us reach our goal of 200 entries for our stitching challenge. Your entries were totally amazing and I thank you so very much, you totally rock!

This week joining Simon Says Stamp challenge in the Designer Spotlight is the uber talented Tara Godfrey of Inking on the Edge. Tara makes the most stunning creations which I regularly drool over and we are so honoured that she has joined us this week.

The challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp is Red and Green. I have coloured my Sarah Kay image with Ranger distress inks. I have added stickles for some sparkle and have distressed the background with old paper. I have used Tim's distressing tool on all my edges and have distressed them with old paper. I have added some distressed stickles rock candy and added some star dust stickles too. I have added basic grey buttons to the centre of my flowers.

My autumn leaves sentiment was distressed with shabby shutters and sprayed with glimmer mist as was my basic grey paper. The leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.

Please do go and check out the rest of SSS dt their creations are fabulous! I thank you so very much for looking and for any comments that you leave I thank you from the bottom of my heart they mean so much.

Magnolia bookmark......

Hello,

I hope you are all well. Today I have a bookmark to show you that I made for my sweet fellow Magnolia DT member Hanna. I won a competition that Hanna was running on her blog to win a card made by Hanna. I was so happy to have won this and when I received it, it was out of this world beautiful. This bookmark is just a little thank you.

I have coloured my Magnolia image with Ranger distress inks. The Magnolia delicious papers have been distressed with Tim's distressing tool and then sprayed with glimmer mist and the edges have been distressed with vintage photo. I have added some paper artsy swirls around the edge with versafine sepia. I have added crackle paint to the heart and tag and spritzed them with glimmer mist. The letters are cuttlebuged.

This is the back of the bookmark. I have stamped my Magnolia heart keyhole with versafine sepia. Coloured with distress ink and sprayed with glimmer mist. I have then added stickle glue around the edge. The scalloped oval is a cuttlebug die and distressed with vintage photo.

This is the card that I won from Hanna. Isn't it absolutely beautiful. Thank you Hanna I will treasure this.

Thank you so much for looking. Have a wonderful day and take care.

Hello Tuesday.......

Hello,

Hope you all had a fabulous Bank Holiday weekend!

How quickly is this year speeding by. I cannot believe we are into September already. I have made this card because I bought this stamp a million years ago and just had to ink it up. I have coloured my image with distress inks. The background and papers are distressed with antique linen and vintage photo.

I have also had the pleasure of receiving this award from the very lovely Kari. Thank you so much you are so kind to think of me.

I would like to thank another lovely blogging friend Annacarin for awarding me the awards in my last post. Thank you so much it is just so very kind of you to pass these on to me.
