I hope you are all well and your Christmas preparations are going well. The winter freeze has hit me again and I am looking out at a lot of snow. If you too are affected by the winter chill please take care and wrap up warm. Me, I am staying put until it has thawed a bit.
Wanted to make a card to remind me of warmer days. Well, I can dream can't I. I have coloured my image with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with pumice stone and I have edged this and everything else on the card with walnut stain. The circles are die cut with nesties and the flowers are ek success. The swirl is a Doohickey die and the butterfly is cuttlebug. I have also cut out a couple of the butterflies from the paper to 3d them.

Can I ask a question, do you blend your DI'S with a blending tool, foam pad or sponge as when I use pumice stone it always seems darker than yours,

Hi Kim, sorry I've not been around to see all your lovely cards of late, they are all beautiful, and your coloring is outstanding.
I think that Ranger should replace Tim Holtz with you as you really show what beauty can be created using their distress inks.
Am really glad to hear Isabella is doing better as that must be such a relief for you, and will allow you to enjoy Christmas a bit better now. We are getting the snow here today in Nottingham, so it's going to be a white christmas everywhere in the UK I think.
