Super Saturday…..

Hello,

Yay! it’s the weekend!

This is a card I made using a Magnolia image from the latest Stampclub kit. I have coloured Tilda with distress inks and added stardust stickle glue. The background is distressed with antique linen and edged with vintage photo and gold stickle glue. I have coloured the little hearts with a sakura clear stardust pen. The flowers have been sprayed with ivory lace glimmer mist and distressed with vintage photo. The grungeboard swirls have been crackle painted with milled lavender and ivory lace glimmered.  Big hugs and kisses to Tab for the delicious lace and one of the scrummy flowers.

Noel Word Book…..

Here we are nearing the end of the week. I hope it is going well for you. Now that the Magnolia Ink issue two has been released. I can show you something from issue one that I made. I altered a word book.

I covered the template with paper.

After I drew around the letters and cut out the paper I sprayed the paper with glimmer mist and distressed it with vintage photo. Then stuck them to my letters.

Here are pictures of the inside.

The Magnolia snowflake I cut out out from acetate and then covered in  clear dries glue and sprinkled glitter over this. I did this 3 times and then held them together with a jewelled brad.

The Magnolia baubles I 3d with decoupage glue along the bottom of the page.
  
These are the last two pages.

On the back of the book I used ribbon and a clear snowflake which I stamped small snowflakes onto using brown stazon.

Tremendous Tuesday….

I hope life is treating you well today.

Just wanted to share with you a little card I made.

 

I have coloured Hilda with distress ink pads. I stamped her onto 300 gsm watercolour paper using versafine black onyx. I used a nestie to die cut the circle and scalloped circle and added stickles around the edge after distressing the background with antique linen. The paper and flowers are distressed with walnut stain.

Hope your weekend is going well.

My card today is using an older Magnolia image of Pirate Edwin. I have masked him over the boat and have 3d the scull and crossbow’s. The flags I stamped twice and stuck them together with decoupage glue to give some depth to them. The bones banner I have added clear crackle paint to give the bones more of an aged look.

I have glimmer misted the paper using silver and distressed this with frayed burlap and added stickle glue stardust.  The sentiment is quickutzed and then I have added stickles. I have also added stardust clear pen to the scull and edge of the tag.

Happy Weekend!!!

Weekend time again!

Today I have made a card using a  sweet Magnolia Tilda from the latest Christmas collection, but, I love that you can use her all year. I have coloured her with distress ink pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper. I have mounted her onto my card with 3d stickers. The paper has been distressed with walnut stain.

I have used crackle paint on my hearts. Tattered rose and picket fence and I have sprayed the tattered rose one with ivory lace glimmer mist. The gorgeous large flowers were a present from the gorgeous Tab. So loving them Tab!

I have also distressed my flowers, butterflies, hearts with walnut stain and added lots of stickle glue. 
I have been so thrilled to receive this award from two these wonderfully talented ladies.

Wonderful Wednesday!!!

I hope life is good with you today. I went out yesterday for the first time since I can’t remember when. Feeling so much better now phew! Thanks for all your wonderful support you all totally rock! Guess what I saw. Little shoots of spring flowers peeking up to say hello. So thrilled to see those little babies.

My card today features one of the yet to be released Magnolia images. I managed to nab her at the NEC last year. I have coloured her onto watercolour paper 300 gsm hp with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with antique linen and I have edged this and my other papers with vintage photo. The banner I have distressed with vintage photo and sprayed with glimmer mist. The letter stamps and heart are hero arts. Leaves are martha stewart punch and the little hearts are craft punched. These are all distressed with vintage photo.

I would like to enter my card into this weeks A Spoon Full of Sugar the challenge is layers.

Also, I would like to wish Magnolia all the best for their visit to this years CHA Winter Convention and Trade show in Anaheim!  Just wish I could be there to indulge in all that Magnolia scrummyness!

Oh woke up today to beautiful sunshine how lovely is that!

My card today is a Magnolia image stamped with versafine onto 300gsm water colour paper and coloured with distress ink pads. I have distressed the background with broken china and using Tim’s distressing tool on all edges then edged with walnut stain. The Magnolia snowflake is stamped around the edges with antique linen. Then to finish heaps of stickles.

Stamp with Fun….. Snowflakes

Thank you so much for your get well wishes. You are all so lovely and your support means everything to me. To anyone who is not having a great time health wise at the moment my get well wishes are coming your way and like me keep taking the tablets!

I have made a card today using an image that was sent to me by my scrummily delicious mega talented friend Tab. Thank you so much sweetie I loved inking her up!

The snowflakes are cuttlebug and martha stewart which I have distressed with walnut stain and added stardust stickles. I would like to enter this card to the Stamp with Fun challenge.

Well I hope you are all keeping well. Suffering with the old asthma at the moment back on the steroids boo hoo. Still hopefully I will improve soon. Just when you thought it was ok to go out more snow! I hope if you have bad weather too you will take care out there brrr!

My card today is another Magnolia image from the latest Magnolia Stampclub. I have coloured Edwin with distress inks. The background has been distressed with vintage photo and I have stamped the heart swirls and added a clear sparkle pen over them.

I have distressed the papers and stars with vintage photo. The flowers have been glimmer misted with iridescent gold and gold stickles.

I would like to say a humongous thank you to a most wonderfully talented young lady Hanna for giving me this award.

Frozen Saturday……

Hello,

Today I did a little demo at the Craftbarn in Lingfield.  Phillip valiantly tried to clear the drive way yesterday in the hope that I could get out. Then we woke to find more snow! He went out again and managed to break up the ice and get his car off the drive my hero!  He was so lovely and drove me to the Craftbarn for my demo phew!

This is one of the cards I demoed.

I have coloured the Motivet image with distress inks. Distressed the background with weathered wood and edged this with walnut stain. Added my stardust stickles and mounted this onto a cuttlebug scalloped square.

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who wished baby Isabella well. She is recovering so well now and definitely on the road to recovery. Claire and I were so touched by your support and concern thank you so much!

Baby it's cold outside..........

Hello,

Oh my goodness how cold is it. Please wrap up and keep warm. Totally marooned in my house now. Can't get off my drive please let it thaw soon!

Thank goodness the snow didn't come yesterday as Claire has been in hospital with baby Isabella and was discharged yesterday. Poor baby has been so poorly. Bronchiolitis with a dreadful ear and throat infection. Claire has been worried out of her life. Thank goodness Isabella is on the mend now so we can start to relax.

My card today is coloured with distress inks. My Magnolia images are from the Magnolia Winter Stamp club. I masked Tilda onto the piano and added the candelabra on top. The background is distressed with weathered wood and I have edged everything with walnut stain. I have added my compulsory stickles too.

I hope you all had a most wonderful Christmas! I had a fabulous time with my lovely family, my Grandson Luca had just the best time opening all his presents. He even took some of the Playmobil that I bought for him to bed. There is nothing like seeing Christmas through the eyes of a child is there.

I have made a card today using some of the Magnolia Stamp club stamps. I have coloured my image with distress inks (can't wait for Tim's new distress inks to be released soon). The background is distressed with tattered rose and edged with vintage photo and stickles.

I have punched my border with the ms punch. The flowers and leaves are punched too. The rose paper has been glimmer misted and I have stamped swirls onto the background and paper. The papers, flowers, leaves and sentiment have been distressed with vintage photo.
