Happy Easter Chocolate Box....

Hello,

Okay where did Spring go! Hope you are all ok and keeping safe and warm.

I would like to share with you a box I made which was in the last Magnolia Ink Magazine.

It is an Easter box to fill with scrummy chocolates and has a card fixed onto the top.

I have coloured my images with distress ink pads onto waterford 300gsm watercolour paper. The flowers are all Magnolia's as is the paper. I have added lots of star dust stickle glue too.

This is a picture of the inside of the lid.

I used a nestie shape for the centre and distressed this with vintage photo.

Here is the bottom inside of the box.

The heart swirl is stamped with versafine sepia and added some stickle glue.

This is the card opened.

The flowers are EK success and the leaves are martha stewart punched.

Here is a close up of the first page.

and the second page.

I have added inkssentials white pen for the white spots on the toad stalls.

A closer look at the top of the box.

The tiny tags are quickutz.

Well thank you so very much for visiting me and please take care especially if you are struggling with nasty weather at the moment.

Hello,

I hope you are doing well and your week has started a good one.

Oh my I have been having the most fabulous time playing with my new sweeties. I just had to choose, it was so hard. But, my heart went out to this little sweetie.

I have coloured my sweet Tilda with distress ink pads. I have stamped her onto waterford 300gsm hp watercolour paper. The background is distressed with antique linen and edged with frayed burlap. The die cut is a nestie shape.

I found the doily at the Hobby House stand with Bev I love these and I sprayed it with iridescent gold glimmer mist and distressed it with frayed burlap.

The sweet little Magnolia heart I got on Saturday is distressed with faded jeans and frayed burlap and sprayed with iridescent gold glimmer.

I was so happy to find these gorgeous tulips on the Magnolia stand too I love them. I have glimmered them and stickled glued with star dust. The stamped Magnolia borders are inked with versafine sepia and I have coloured them in with sakura star dust clear pen. The butterflies are martha stewart which have been glimmered, distressed and stickled. I have added pearls and liquid pearls to the background paper.

Thank you so very much for visiting me and I wish you a wonderful day!

Happy Mothers Day....

Hello,

Oh my word what a beautiful day it is here today! I hope you too are enjoying a gorgeous day to wake up to.

Today is Mothering Sunday in this land of mine and I would like to wish all Mothers and everyone who cares for children a very happy Mothers day! You are all totally incredible! I would like to say a special thank you to my amazing daughter for giving me another beautiful grandchild last year. For making me so proud of the most wonderful, kind, unselfish and nurturing Mother to her beautiful babies  and for including me in their lives everyday. I am so blessed happy Mothers day my darling Claire.

This is the card I have made for her. I have used this sweet SCACD image by Elisabeth Bell. You can be purchase her at Quixotic Paperie. I have coloured my image with ranger distress ink pads. I have used some of the new colours I bought the other day and they are just so gorgeous I love them. The stickle glue I have used is Star Dust. I have distressed everything with frayed burlap. I have tried a different technique too. The awesomely talented Inge gave a tip on her blog on how to highlight your image. She shades around her image with coloured chalk. So I had a go and used blue chalk. It gives a very soft effect so thank you so much for sharing that Inge.

The flowers were a present from my sweet gorgeous friend Tab. I have sprayed them with iridescent gold glimmer mist and distressed the edges with frayed burlap.

Thank you so much for looking and I wish you all a wonderful day!
