A Pocket Full of Posies Challenge - Peach and Aqua.....

Hello,

I hope you had a great weekend!

Today I have had the great pleasure of being invited to be guest designer for the challenge A Pocket Full Of Posies. Thank you so very much for inviting me girls. It has been an honour to join you!

The challenge starting today is to use the colours Peach and Aqua.

For my card I have stamped my Magnolia image with Archival coffee onto 300gsm hp water colour paper. I have distressed the background with old paper. I have then distressed the edge of this and everything else on my card with walnut stain. I have added sparkle with Star Dust stickle glue. I was very lucky to win the fabulously talented  Tammi's blog candy and in it were these beautiful papers by Webster's. Thank you Tammi I love them!

Thank you again girls for inviting me and I would urge you to go see the beautiful creations that the DT have made just stunning!

Huge thanks for visiting with me and have a wonderful week!

What a lovely day!......

Hello,

Hope your weekend is going well and the weather is being kind to you. It is warm here and in the afternoons the sun shines beautifully.

I had the best day yesterday demoing the new Doohickey dies from Magnolia at Crafts U Love. Thank you so very much to all the ladies who came to say hello. It was such a pleasure to meet you all. You are just the loveliest ladies ever! I was so very lucky to sit next to Caroline aka Stamping Caz who is just such a sweet and talented girl. So a big thank you to you all for making it such a wonderful day!

This is one of the cards I made for the demo. I stamped Tilda with Archival coffee onto 300gsm water colour paper. The background has been distressed with Old paper. I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. The papers have been distressed with Tim's distressing tool. I embossed the Lace border Magnolia Doohickey die instead of die cutting it. Then I distressed this and everything else on the card with vintage photo.

I used the Tag die which I hid behind Tilda.

Here is the flower I made out of the Magnolia Peony Petals dies. I sprayed the paper with Iridescent gold glimmer mist, curled the petals and added vintage photo and Star Dust stickle glue. You can see the leaf die peeking out behind the flower. The centre of the flower is a punched Martha Stewart flower which goes so well with this die.

Well thank you so much for visiting me. I wish you all a wonderful week!

The Little Mermaid.....

Hello,

I hope you all had a great weekend! It was my daughter's birthday and her confirmation so we had a wonderful weekend I am so very proud of her and love her so much.

I received the latest Stamp Club kit from Magnolia and couldn't wait to ink up this sweet Tilda. Isn't she so cute!

I have stamped her with Archival coffee onto Waterford water colour paper 300gsm hp. I added perfect pearls to her hair for more shimmer and Star Dust stickle glue for sparkle. I have distressed the background with weathered wood and tumbled glass. The die cut border is a Magnolia Doohickey die. The leaves are punched with a Leone Em punch. The butterflies are Martha Stewart. I have glimmer misted the flowers, leaves, paper and butterflies with iridescent gold glimmer mist. I heat embossed the shells with some glittery embossing powder and then distressed them with vintage photo.

Sunny Thursday.....

Hello,

Another gorgeous day and loving it!

Hope you are all well. I have been on Grandma duty for a few days as Luca has been off with Tonsillitis. He is getting there now. I was hoping that with summer here baby germs would give us a break for a while but no. Still, lots of cuddles, puzzles and film watching and Luca is on the right track now bless him.

I have made a card today and it fits with the Stampavie challenge at the moment which is Spots.

I have stamped my image with archival coffee onto Waterford water colour paper 300gsm. I have added pink chalk around my image and the edges are distressed with walnut stain.

The flowers are punched ek success and leaves are Martha Stewart. The vellum border is punched with a fiskars punch. The stickles are star dust.

Well, thank you so much for looking and I wish you all a wonderful weekend! Looks like the sun has got his hat on again so enjoy!

Sweet Sarah Kay......

Hello,

I hope you are all well and enjoying this most beautiful summer!

Today I would like to show you a Pail that I made when I taught a class at Crafts U Love. I had the most gorgeous ladies on my class and I thank you all for giving me such a lovely, lovely day!

I used this adorable Sarah Kay image from Stampavie. She was stamped with versafine black onyx onto Waterford water colour paper 300gsm. I used distress ink pads to colour with.  The circles are nesties and I have distressed the background with tattered rose.

I masked off a little of the image for the top of the tin. The stickles are star dust. I also added dots of liquid pearls around the scalloped circle.

I have edged everything with vintage photo. The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.

For the borders I have used Martha Stewart border punches and the little tiny butterflies that were punched out when I punched the paper I stuck these around the Pail on the ribbon.

I made a little tag to go with the Pail and the greeting and swirls are Magnolia. I added milled lavender crackle paint to the heart and sprayed this with iridescent gold glimmer.

Well, thank you so very much for looking and I wish you all a most wonderful weekend!
