Exciting news from Magnolia and a Friendship Card....

How are you all doing brilliantly I hope! I have some exciting Magnolia news to share with you today.

First of all Magnolia Inspiration is having a totally new look!

 This will all be happening on the 1st of December! So please do go and check that out, remember the 1st of December! 

There are also exciting new developments occurring behind the scenes to the Magnolia Ink Magazine. There are going to be different formats and styles etc., so I am really looking forward to seeing the new changes they have in store for us!

Here is a card I made using this sweet Tilda and Edwin image. I have stamped my image with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300gsm hp watercolour paper. I have coloured my image with distress inks. The background has been distressed with weathered wood and this and everything on the card has been edged and distressed with walnut stain.

The stickles I have added are silver ice and star dust. I have sprayed the flowers and doily with iridescent gold. The tag and butterflies are clear heat embossed. The border is die cut using  a Magnolia Doo Hickey die. The leaves are Nellie punched and embossed.

Wishing you special everything....

I hope you are all well and are having a good week. I had a fabulous time at the NEC and would like to thank all the gorgeous girls I met up with for making it such a special day!

Today I have made a card using one of the sweet Magnolia latest release images that I have fallen in love with. I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads and stamped her with versafine black onyx onto 300gsm watercolour paper. I am having a bit of a Magnolia Doohickey craze and so I have used the flower, leaf, swirl and tag on this card. The smaller flowers are EK Success punched. I have distressed everything with walnut stain and the stickle glue is star dust.

Totally Gorjuss Challenge - GDT....

I hope you are all fit and well and have had a great week. Today I am very excited as I am off to the NEC in Birmingham. I am so looking forward to seeing lots of crafters there and of course shopping it's the law!

I have had the honour of being asked to guest design for the Totally Gorjuss Challenge this week. Thank you so very much for inviting me I was so thrilled to join you. We have been given a sketch to follow designed by  one of the Gorjuss girls Net. Thank you so much Net it was a pleasure to work with.

I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with vintage photo. I have heat embossed the sentiment and the flowers. The little seals on the parcels I have added Glossy Accents for a shine. The leaves are a Martha Stewart punch. The stickle glue I have used is gold and star dust.
