Wishing you a very Merry Christmas....

I hope you are all well and ready for Christmas. I managed to get out at last with the snow thawed a bit and got my Christmas food shop. So happy I was beginning to panic lol! I can't believe Santa will be arriving tonight my Grandson Luca is so excited he could burst!

I have made another Christmas card today. I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads and have distressed the background with old paper. I have edged this and everything else with walnut stain. The stickles I have added are stardust and platinum. I heat embossed the moon and the baubles with clear embossing powder.

The tag is a Magnolia Doohickey die and the flowers Wild Orchid. 

Well I will say goodbye now and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones the joy and magic of Christmas and thank you so much for your visit. My family will be visiting Christmas and Boxing day I can't wait to be spending this special time with them.

Hello,

I hope you are all well and your Christmas preparations are going well. The winter freeze has hit me again and I am  looking out at a lot of snow. If you too are affected by the winter chill please take care and wrap up warm. Me, I am staying put until it has thawed a bit.

Wanted to make a card to remind me of warmer days. Well, I can dream can't I. I have coloured my image with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with pumice stone and I have edged this and everything else on the card with walnut stain. The circles are die cut with nesties and the flowers are ek success. The swirl is a Doohickey die and the butterfly is cuttlebug.  I have also cut out a couple of the butterflies from the paper to 3d them.

Santa Coming to Town.....

Hello,

First of all can I say a humongous thank you to you all for your lovely words of support during Isabella's illness. I am thrilled to say that she is recovering brilliantly now and we can at last think about getting ready for Christmas. So big hugs to you all for your kindness.

I have actually managed to make a card and boy it was so great to get my fingers inky. I have stamped my Magnolia image with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300gsm hp water colour paper. I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with pumice stone and I have edged this and everything else on the card with walnut stain. The Magnolia snowflakes were stamped with versafine grey and heat embossed.

The little fence is a Magnolia Doohickey die and I have added stardust stickles and that puffy snow stuff. The Magnolia trees were stamped with versamark and heat embossed with glitter embossing powder.

A Christmas Star....

Hello,

I hope you are all keeping well and if you are snowed in keeping warm! My poor Daughter Claire has been through the mill this last week.  Baby Isabella had her tonsils and adenoids removed and ear drums drained which then resulted in a secondary infection caught in hospital so Isabella has been so poorly. Resulting in us all having to travel miles each day to the hospital. Then hospital's being healthy places Claire and I caught a virus in there so I am now on the steroids again with asthma and poor Isabella is still unwell I am willing her to recover it is just so sad to see her suffering. So I really hope that you are all managing to step away from the virus!

Today I have made a Christmas card using one of the latest Magnolia released Merry Little Christmas Collection stamps. I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads stamped with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 140lb 300gsm hp paper. The background has been distressed with pumice stone and I have edged this and everything else on the card with walnut stain. The cuttlebug snowflakes I have painted with pewter crackle paint. The stickle glue is star dust. The leaves are a martha stewart punch.

The circles are nestablities and the borders are a Magnolia Lace die. I have used Cosmo Cricket rub ons for text and snowflakes. The ribbon is binding tape.
