Christening Card......

I hope all of you gorgeous people are well and have had a great weekend!

I am so happy that it is the last day of January. I know I am bad wishing my life away but I so want longer daylight and warmer climes! Roll on Spring!

Today I would like to show you a card I made for the sweetest little baby girl's Christening of a gorgeous blogging friend of mine.

I have stamped baby Tilda with Versafine onyx black onto 300gsm (140lbs) water colour paper. I have coloured my image with distress ink pads.

I wanted to make an easel card but, they are a nightmare for me to photograph lol!

The stickles I have added are star dust and platinum. The die shapes are nesties which I have layered. 

The lace and large flat flowers were a gift from my scrumptious friend Tab.

I have distressed everything with walnut stain. I have also used Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist on bits of my card. The corner and crown shapes are glimmer mist chips.

The hearts and tiny flowers are Quickutz dies. The border die is a Magnolia Doohickey. The leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.

The wording are Time Holtz grunge board letters and I have covered these with tattered rose distressed paint.

DT Magnolia - Edwin Bookmark...

I hope you have had a good week and that you are well.

Here is a bookmark I made using some of the Magnolia mini's.

I have masked off a house from Magnolia's town house stamp and masked this cute mini Magnolia Edwin on his bike in front.

I have stamped my images with versafine onyx black onto 300gsm (140lbs) watercolour paper. I have coloured my images with distress ink pads. The clouds are from a Magnolia mini scene stamp. 

The Edwin name is punched out of a Tim Holtz letter sheet.

To make the bookmark more robust. I have covered the image and letters with Ultra Thick Embossing powder. I repeated this about 3 times.

Here is the back of the bookmark.

I embossed the Magnolia snail as well.

The stars are punched and I have added small gems in the middle.

The Magnolia paper has been distressed with Tim's distressing tool and then distressed with walnut stain.

The stickles I have added are silver. Before I embossed I also added clear sakura glitter pen to the house and clouds.

DT Magnolia - Wishing....

I hope you are all well, had a great weekend and are having a good start to the week!

I have made this card using one of the images from the latest release from Magnolia's You are so Special collection.

I have stamped Tilda with versafine black onyx onto 300gsm (140lbs) watercolour paper. I have coloured her with distress ink pads. The stickles I have used on Tilda are Star Dust. I have mounted her onto my nesties shape using foam stickers. I have distressed everything with Vintage Photo and used Platinum stickles on my paper and flowers. The corner swirl is a rub-on. I have cut out some extra butterflies from my dp and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.

Magnolia DT - Mini World Magnolia...

How are you doing? Well I hope. Today I would like to share with you a card I have made out of a small paper bag.

I have used Magnolia's Mini World images they are so super cute! I have always loved these, and at every craft fair I would spend hours going through the huge container of mini's on the Magnolia stand. I was so lucky to received some in my Magnolia dt package. So I thought I would use them to make this little bag card as they are the perfect size for it.

I have masked Tilda onto these eggs. I have coloured my images with distress ink pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper.

Here is the inside of my card. I have used nesties for my ovals.

The stickle glue I have added is platinum and stardust.

These minis are perfect for adding little touches too. Here I have masked off these flowers from a background scene and it fits perfectly on my tag.

This is the back of my card. The punched border is a Magnolia Doohickey die.

I hope you are all well and have had a great weekend! 

I am enjoying getting back to normal after Christmas and the New Year and regaining my energy again lol!

I have made a card today using this sweet Tilda from Magnolia's 2010 Christmas collection. I have stamped her with Versafine black onyx onto Waterford water colour 300gsm hp paper.

I have coloured Tilda with Distress Ink Pads. I added a shading around her using Antique Linen and distressed my circle and everything else on the card with Walnut Stain.

The circles and hearts are die cut using nesties. The stickles I have used are Star Dust and Platinum. I have sprayed the flowers with Glimmer Mist Iridescent Gold. The snowflakes are a Magnolia Doohickey die. 

To give some depth to my card I have used foam stickers to the circle and hearts.

Wish upon a Star....

I hope you are all well and have enjoyed all the new year festivities. I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year! I am shocked at how quickly we are into another year, time is sure whizzing by!

For my card to start the new year off. I have stamped my sweet Magnolia Tilda with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300gsm hp watercolour paper. I have used distress ink pads for my colouring. The sprinkly spronkly is stickles star dust.

The ovals are die cut using nesties and the swirls and lace border are die cut using Magnolia's Doohickeys. I have distressed everything with walnut stain. I have used rub-ons for the lettering on the Magnolia tag.
