Sweet as candy.....

The sun has got his hat on here again! I hope you too are enjoying some lovely Spring weather. It is so much easier to get up to.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made using one of the new Magnolia Mini 6x6 papers. They are just so perfect for card making and I have really loved using it. 

I have used one of the new designs from the latest Butterfly Dreams Collection. Pink Butterfly. Such a pretty colour and love those butterflies. My sweet image is also from this collection Tilda with Straw Hat.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. Stamped with Versamark black onyx. I have used some Quickutz corners to frame her with. 

The Magnolia butterfly and tag have been clear embossed before cutting out. 

The border and detail behind the flowers are Magnolia Doohickey dies. 

The sparkle I have added is star dust stickles and sakura clear.

I have distressed all the edges of my card with walnut stain.

The detail on the tag are rub ons by Doodlebug.

I hope you are all well and have had a wonderful weekend! The weather here has been amazing. So lovely and sunny, I can really feel spring is on it's way!

I have made this card for a lovely blogging friend who has become a Grandmother again to the most beautiful baby boy. Such a wonderful time for her and her family.

I have coloured my image with distress ink pads. The background has been distressed with stormy sky and the edges of this and everything on the card have been distressed with walnut stain.

The stickles I have used are star dust.

I hope your week has been going well and everything is good with you.

I have made a card today using Magnolia's Tilda in the Garden from the You are so Special Collection.

Tilda has been stamped with versafine black onyx. I have used 300gsm hp water colour paper. My edges have been distressed with walnut stain. The stickles I have used are platinum and star dust.

Spring has sprung.......

I hope you are all well and I am so happy as we have reached the first day of Spring! It is very chilli con carne at the moment though, but I am so please to finally be in March!

I have made a card today using a Mini Magnolia image.

I have cut mini Tilda out and placed her in front of a Magnolia background scene die cut using a Nesties circle. The Magnolia flower spray I cut out from a Magnolia Kissing Gate stamp. I sprayed this and the background image with glimmer mist and the stickles that I have added are Star Dust. 

The border die and swirl are Magnolia Doohickey dies.

I have coloured with distress ink pads and everything has been distressed with walnut stain.
