Sending happiness......

Here we are another Holiday weekend. I hope you have lots of great things planned. I am going to be in my garden and enjoy the beautiful weather. Yesterday I was glued to the television from 8am to 11.30pm watching the Royal Wedding and then all the footage again. I ate up every last minute of it and loved every magical moment! Huge congratulations to such a beautiful couple!

I have made a card with celebration in mind using Magnolia's Tilda with Balloon from the You are so Special collection.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper.

I have distressed the background with pumice stone and edged this and everything on the card with walnut stain.

I have die cut the tag and fence using Magnolia's Doohickey dies. The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.

I have added some gauze around my card and the stickle glue I have added is star dust.

I have decorated the inside of my card.

The two little tags are quickutz.

The oval die cuts are nestablities. The button was a gift from my sweet friend Serena thank you!

A quick update on Luca. Thank you all so much for all of your support. It means so much and I am very happy to report that the operation went very well and we are keeping everything crossed that he will respond well to this last procedure.

First I would like to wish you all a very Happy Easter. It is so wonderful to have the long weekend start here and I hope you have lots of happy times!

Today I have made a card using this sweet Tilda from Magnolia's You are so Special Collection.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. The edges on this and all my papers has been distressed with walnut stain. The oval dies are nesties. The stickles I have added are Star Dust.

I have decorated the inside too.

Here I have used the Doohickey Magnolia Tag die. To get the border. I embossed the die only onto some bazzill and cut around the edge. Then I die cut the tag using some of this delicious Prima paper to go inside the border.

Here I used a nestie for you to write your message on and punched the flowers using the tiny EK Success punch.

Here you can see some of the flower detail I have used Wild Orchid flowers and stamens. Then added some of my trusty sprinkly spronkly Star Dust.

Here you can see a bit more dimension. I have added 3d cushions under my two layers of card to get depth to my card.

Luca is going for another operation on his eyes at GOSH on Tuesday so I need all the cuddles I can to keep me going until he comes home. This will be his 14th bless him. I just wish is was me and not him.

Here we are at the weekend I hope you have lots of lovely things planned. 

Today I would like to share a card with you I have made using this sweet Hanglar image. I have coloured her with distress ink pads. I have edged this and everything on my card with walnut stain. The stickles I have used are star dust. 

The heart border is a Martha Stewart punch. The tiny flowers are an EK Success punch. I have distressed a few of the paper edges and added some liquid pearl dots.

Today I would like to share with you a card I have made using one of the sweet Tilda's from Magnolia's Butterfly Dreams collection called Hello Little Butterfly.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads stamped onto 300gsm watercolour paper.

The background has been distressed with spun sugar and edged with walnut stain. I have used a pricking tool along the edge of my paper.

The tag and swirl are die cut using Magnolia's Doohickey dies and the butterflies are Martha Stewart punches.

The stickles I have added are Star Dust.

I would like to share a card I have made using an Elisabeth Bell Sugar Nellie discontinued image.

I have coloured my image with distress ink pads.

The border has been die cut using a Martha Stewart punch.

The flowers have been sprayed with marshmallow glimmer mist.

The stickles I have added are star dust.

I hope you all had a great week and have lots of good things planned for the weekend.

Today I would like to show you a card I have made using one of the Magnolia Mini 6 x 6 papers. The one I have used in this card is Turquoise Butterfly.

I have stamped Tilda with Butterfly Dress from the Butterfly Dreams Collection with versafine black onyx, onto 300gsm water colour paper and then cut her out.

I have used a nestie shape for my background. I have distressed this with pumice stone and edged this and everything else with walnut stain. The leaves and swirl are Magnolia Doohickey dies.

I have covered an Embelliscrap button with some Magnolia 12 x 12 Spring Butterfly paper and threaded this with green thread. The ribbon is bias binding which I have sprayed with home made distressed water in a mini mister using weathered wood and crinkled it up and left it to dry.

The stickles I have added are Star Dust, Silver Ice and some Sakura clear glitter pen. I have also added teeny tiny half pearls to her shoes.
