TOMIC Challenge # 13 - Back to School + Metal....

Hello,

I hope you are all well and have had a brilliant weekend!

Today is the start of another challenge for TOMIC!

This week's theme is Back to School + Metal. Here is the bookmark I have made for this week's challenge.

I have coloured my Magnolia Tilda with distress ink pads.

I have layered my card with layers of metallic gold card. The word School are Tim Holtz Grungeboard letters. Which I have covered with crackle paint and distressed with walnut stain.

The large star is Quickutz as is the photo corner. The smaller stars are punched. 

I have added Star Dust stickle glue and Clear Sakura glitter pen.

Here is the back of my bookmark.

The rub on letters are Doodlebug.

The teeny sentiment is a Tim Holtz doodaa.

TOMIC Challenge # 12 - MagnoliaInk Birthday.......

Hello,

I hope you are all well and are lovely and rested from your weekend activities.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at TOMIC. We are having a special celebration challenge this week! 

We are celebrating the birthday of our very own Magnolia Magazine MagnoliaInk!

So the theme of our TOMIC challenge this week is Recycling as MagnoliaInk is made from recycled paper.

There will be a extra special prize for the lucky winner from Magnolia to celebrate the birthday of MagnoliaInk so it would be wonderful if you would join us in our special celebration!

Here is my card and how I made it using  my recycled items.

I have coloured my Magnolia Tilda with distress ink pads onto watercolour paper.I have distressed everything with walnut stain and have added stickles for some sparkle.

The doily is die cut using a Magnolia Doohickey die as is the border.

I have pin pricked the edge of my image.

Here is the book that I have recycled. I have torn pages out and distressed them to add to my card.

You can get loads of old books from charity shops which are great to use like this.

I have decorated the inside too.

I have also used recycled items inside. 

Here are tags that I saved as I thought I could use them in something. So they were perfect for this TOMIC challenge.

Here they are recycled. I have covered them with Picket Fence crackle paint. Then I have stamped onto them. Adding stickles and a recycled button from an blouse I threw away.

Here is the right hand inside of my card. 

The hearts are nesties and the flowers EK Success punched.

I hope you are all well and life is good for you.

Today I would like to share a card I made.

I have coloured this sweet Tilda with distress ink pads. Stamped with Versafine Black Onyx onto 300 gsm water colour paper.

I have distressed my card with Walnut Stain and the stickles I have added are Star Dust and Platinum. 

I have die cut the tag and keys using Magnolia Doohickey dies.

The border is punched using a Martha Stewart punch.

I have decorated the inside too.

This is the left hand inside.

I have stamped out a Mini Magnolia and used a clear Stardust pen and some stickles on her.

This is the right hand inside.

We are nearly at the weekend! 

Today I have a card I would like to share with you that I sent to a sweet friend to say thank you!

I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads. 

The stickles I have added are Star dust and Silver. I have used nestie dies for the circles. These and everything on my card has been distressed with Walnut Stain.

The border and leaf swirl are Magnolia Doohickey dies. The tiny flowers are Quickutz.

I have added some bandage around my card. So love this soft effect.

I have also decorated the inside.

Here is the inside left. I used a Magnolia tag Doohickey die. Letters are Hero Arts. EK Success punched flowers.

Here is the right hand inside.

I have coloured my Magnolia image with Distress Ink Pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper.

I have added Star Dust Stickles for some sprinkly spronkly. Also, a touch of Sakura Clear Stardust pen.

The borders are die cut using  Magnolia Doohickey border dies. The oval is a nestie. The leaves are also a Magnolia Doohickey die.

I have decorated the inside of my card too.

Here is the inside right. I have added teeny tiny liquid pearls to the edge of my card.
