Fabulous Friday!

A big hello from me!

I hope you are all well and that your week has been a good one.

I have had a fabulous week. It was my daughter Claire's birthday lots of celebrating and still more to come this weekend. Then we had a visit from the Olympic torch come through our village which was such an amazing day I can't tell you. It passed right outside Luca's village school so we were able to take him out of school to cheer the torch on. It thrilled me to share this historical time with my family and one I will never forget! Today it is the last day of the school year so another landmark for us.

I would like to share with you another Teacher thank you card and present to say goodbye to Luca's amazing teachers.

I have altered a paper bag. The border is a Magnolia Doohickey die cut as is the Heart Tag. I have added Platinum stickles.

The cute Magnolia Tilda is coloured with Distress Ink Pads.

The papers are Pion.

The seam binding The Ribbon Girl.

Here is a photo of the inside insert.

I have added some Sakura clear glitter pen to Tilda.

I have painted this pencil box then added some Maja paper and lots of Magnolia Doohickey die cuts and Tim's grunge numbers painted in crackle paint.

I painted the corrugated paper and added star dust stickles.

The heart border is Martha Stewart.

Before I go I must share a photo of Claire and Luca with the Olympic Torch bearer.

Thank you card and gift......

Hello!

I hope you are all well and keeping dry! How wet has it been!

Hopefully now the school's summer holidays are fast approaching we will finally have a summer!

So to show our appreciation for the amazing work that Luca's teachers have done for him for his first year I have made a card and altered a pencil case as a little thank you.

Here is the card. I have been so inspired by the work of this amazingly talented girl Hanne. That I have tried to make a card out of a paper bag. Thank you Hanne for all your incredible inspiration!

I have distressed everything with walnut stain.

I have used a Fiskars punch for the top border.

The paper I have used is Pion.

The small border die, heart tag and leaves die are Magnolia's Doohickeys.

The gorgeous crocheted flowers are Tabby Craft.

The die cut letters are quickutz.

The flowers and metal corner are WOC.

The seam binding is from The Ribbon Girls.

I have coloured my Magnolia Image with distress ink pads.

The stickle glue I have used is star dust.

Here is the inside for Luca to write his message.

The post mark is Paper Artsy.

Here is the pencil case.

I painted it with gesso.

The butterflies from WOC were bronze but I used metallic alchohol ink to make them silver.

The butterflies around the side are a Martha Stewart punch.

The school letters are Pion.

The name plate is a quickutz die.

The little tags are quickutz.

The sentiment is Magnolia.

The flowers are leaf swirl branch are Magnolia Doohickeys.

The letters are Tim Holtz grunge letters painted with distress paint.

The inside has been distress painted and sprayed with glimmer mist.

The words are Tim's Doodaa's.

A Girlie Card...........

Today is the start of a brand new Card Challenge for The Ribbon Girls!

The theme this month is to make a 'Girlie Card'

Here is my card.

I have used this sweet Tilda from Magnolia.

Coloured her with distress ink pads.

All the delicious ribbons are available from The Ribbon Girls.

The paper is Pion Design.

The flowers and Metal Corner are WOC.

The Heart Tag is a Magnolia Doohickey.

The sprinkly spronkly heart is from the The Ribbon Girls

I have added Stardust Stickles.

The inside hearts are Nesties.

Behind the hearts I have added bandage.
