Say it with Flowers.....

Hello,

Today I have a card I have made using Magnolia's Tilda with Peony Tails from the Sweet Crazy love Collection.

I have stamped Tilda with Archival Coffee and coloured her in with distress inks.

I have pin pricked around the edge of my image and added Quickutz photo corners.

The borders are Magnolia's Doohickey dies.

The stickles I have added are Star Dust.

The tiny flowers are Quickutz dies and the stamps Pion paper.

I have decorated the inside too.

Here is the inside left. The paper is Pion.

I have punched out the tiny butterflies and the ribbon is seam binding.

Here is the inside right.

The tag is Pion paper and the heart is a Quickutz die.

Hello,

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas. I certainly did with my scrummy family :)

It is the new start to a new year. So I am sending you wishes for a very Happy New Year filled with happiness, good health, and love!

To start the new year I would like to share a card I made using a sweet Tilda from the latest Magnolia release by the amazingly talented Pauline "Tilda Loves Flowers".

I have coloured her with distress inks.

Added Star Dust stickles and distressed everything with walnut stain.

The border and tag are Magnolia's Doohickey dies.

I have decorated the inside.

The heart is another Doohickey die. The butterflies are Magnolia images.

The little gate from Magnolia is stamped with Coffee Archival ink and Sakura clear stardust pen added.

Well, thank you all so much for looking and for your comments I say a huge thank you!

Merry Christmas....

Hello,

Hope you are all well and ready to go for the big day!

I would like to share with you a Canvas that I have altered.

I have distressed the canvass with walnut stain. Then I added some Inka Gold all over this.

I have coloured Magnolia's Sitting Tilda with Teddy Bear with distress inks.

The wording JOY I have die cut using Quickutz. Then added Star Dust stickles.

The Tando Snowflake Plaque and Scroll I have crackle painted, distressed with walnut stain and then covered with Inka Gold paint.

The snowflakes are Magnolia Doohickeys. I have added some bandage and the leaf scrolls are Doohickey dies too.

Behind Tilda, I have added Magnolia Designer paper and a doily from Little Yellow Bicycle. Then added some bling.

Hello,

I hope that you are well and not too stressed. Can you believe that we only have four more sleeps until the big day!

Here is a card that I made using Magnolia's Sweet Christmas Dreams images.

I have masked Winter Tilda and stamped Welcome to a Sweet Christmas image behind her. I used Archival Coffee to stamp my images onto 300gsm watercolour paper.

The stickles I have added are Star Dust.

The die cuts are Magnolia Doohickeys.

Everything has been distressed with Walnut Stain.

Here for the inside left of my card. I have pin pricked the edges. The Magnolia Santa's Sack has been stamped and then the wax seals have been glossed with Glossy Accents.

The die cut is Magnolia Mistletoe.

I have stamped Christmas Love Holly in the corner and added Sakura glitter pen to the hearts.

I hope all is good with you and that your Christmas preparations are going well.

Today I have a card I made using Magnolia's Halo Tilda.

I have coloured Tilda with distress inks. I have used Archival Coffee to stamp Tilda with for a change, onto 300 gsm hp water colour paper.

Everything is edged with walnut stain and the stickles I have used are Star Dust.

I die cut the star using Quickutz and then covered this with clear crackle glaze.

To give the bells some sparkle I covered them in versamark and then added ultra thick embossing powder and then added glitter before heating.

For the inside left I die cut a cuttlebug snowflake.

I added Magnolia's Mistletoe die cuts to the inside right.

Terrific Thursday.....

Hello,

I hope that you are all well. Can you believe December is rushing by so fast! Managed to get most of my Christmas pressies yesterday phew! So much pressure! Hope your Christmas list is more organised than mine!

Today I have another Christmas card to share with you.

I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress inks.

The sparkle is stickles star dust and I have added some liquid pearls too.

The hearts are nesties die cuts which I have painted with crackle paint and distressed with walnut stain.

I have die cut the Magnolia Snowflakes and then sprayed them with Glimmer Mist in Gold.

I have decorated the inside too.

Also, I have edged all my edges with walnut stain and then added some Gold Leaf Pen to them.

Here is the inside left.

The heart border is a Magnolia die and I have added gold leaf pen to this and the Magnolia die cut Lamp Post.

I have used the Snowflakes which were in Magnolia's Stamp Club they are so gorgeous to add around my card.

I have die cut Magnolia's Mistletoe and Lace Border and added gold stickles to the Mistletoe. The heart border is Martha Stewart. I have also added Magnolia's jewel garland to the base.

Sending a String of Hearts.....

Hello,

I hope life is good with you and you are having a wonderful weekend!

I have been a poorly person in da house this last couple of weeks and am now at last starting to feel human again with my trusty roids. So please accept my apologies for not being able to visit you, I thank you so much for all your lovely comments.

Luckily, here is a card I made earlier.

I have used another sweet Tilda from Magnolia's Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection. This is Ribbon Tilda.

I have coloured my images in with distress inks. Added some sparkle using Star Dust Stickles and Sakura clear sparkle pen.

The Holly and Acorns from the same Sweet Dreams Collection have been heat embossed and cut out after distress ink colouring.

I have decorated the inside.

Here is the inside left.

The Mistletoe is a previous Magnolia Christmas image.

The gorgeous Magnolia paper has been pin pricked all round the edge and I have added some Ranger Glossy Accents clear glue to high light some of the hearts.

Here is the inside right.

Lots of distressing with Walnut Stain and stickle glue.

Well I have now decided that I better get into the Christmas spirit and make a start on my Christmas cards. So here is my first 2011 Christmas card using one of the new Magnolia Sweet Dreams images. I love her.

I have coloured Winter Tilda with distress inks and for the sprinkly spronkly I have used Star Dust and Gold stickle glue.

I have decorated the inside.

The snowflakes and border are Magnolia Doohickeys dies and I have distressed this and everything on my card with walnut stain.

I hope that you are enjoying life and I still can't believe we are into October already!

Here is a card I made using Magnolia's sweet Tilda.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. Stamped onto 300gsm (140lbs) hp watercolour paper. I have die cut ovals using nesties and pin pricked around the edge which has been distressed with walnut stain. The stickles I have added are star dust and I have added some crackle paint translucent to the flowers. The tag and leaves are Doohickey dies.

I have decorated the inside too.

Here is the inside left.

The butterfly is a Magnolia Doohickey die.

Here is the inside right.

Leaving enough room for your message. The leaf is also a Magnolia Doohickey die. I have added liquid pearls around the roses.

Today I would like to share with you a card I have made using Ballerina Tilda from Magnolia's Fairytale Collection.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads onto 300 gms watercolour paper. I have edged this and everything on my card with walnut stain.

The flower, stems and border are die cut using Magnolia's Doohickey dies.

I have decorated the inside too.

The Pion Paper is so lush that decorating the inside of my card is made so much easier.

I have added some Doohickey leaves to the flower inside left.

I have used a Martha Stewart punch to make the smaller flowers for the inside right.

I have added star dust stickles and sakura glitter clear pen for sparkle.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for a Wedding that we will be going to.

I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper. I have distressed the background with pumice stone. The stickles I have added are Star Dust and Platinum.

TOMIC Challenge # 13 - Back to School + Metal....

Today is the start of another challenge for TOMIC!

This week's theme is Back to School + Metal. Here is the bookmark I have made for this week's challenge.

I have coloured my Magnolia Tilda with distress ink pads.

I have layered my card with layers of metallic gold card. The word School are Tim Holtz Grungeboard letters. Which I have covered with crackle paint and distressed with walnut stain.

The large star is Quickutz as is the photo corner. The smaller stars are punched.

I have added Star Dust stickle glue and Clear Sakura glitter pen.

Here is the back of my bookmark.

The rub on letters are Doodlebug.

The teeny sentiment is a Tim Holtz doodaa.

TOMIC Challenge # 12 - MagnoliaInk Birthday.......

I hope you are all well and are lovely and rested from your weekend activities.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at TOMIC. We are having a special celebration challenge this week!

We are celebrating the birthday of our very own Magnolia Magazine MagnoliaInk!

So the theme of our TOMIC challenge this week is Recycling as MagnoliaInk is made from recycled paper.

There will be a extra special prize for the lucky winner from Magnolia to celebrate the birthday of MagnoliaInk so it would be wonderful if you would join us in our special celebration!

Here is my card and how I made it using my recycled items.

I have coloured my Magnolia Tilda with distress ink pads onto watercolour paper.I have distressed everything with walnut stain and have added stickles for some sparkle.

The doily is die cut using a Magnolia Doohickey die as is the border.

I have pin pricked the edge of my image.

Here is the book that I have recycled. I have torn pages out and distressed them to add to my card.

You can get loads of old books from charity shops which are great to use like this.

I have decorated the inside too.

I have also used recycled items inside.

Here are tags that I saved as I thought I could use them in something. So they were perfect for this TOMIC challenge.

Here they are recycled. I have covered them with Picket Fence crackle paint. Then I have stamped onto them. Adding stickles and a recycled button from an blouse I threw away.

Here is the right hand inside of my card.

The hearts are nesties and the flowers EK Success punched.

Today I have a card I would like to share with you that I sent to a sweet friend to say thank you!

I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads.

The stickles I have added are Star dust and Silver. I have used nestie dies for the circles. These and everything on my card has been distressed with Walnut Stain.

The border and leaf swirl are Magnolia Doohickey dies. The tiny flowers are Quickutz.

I have added some bandage around my card. So love this soft effect.

I hope that you are all well and enjoying your Summer holidays!

Nearly into August now. Crazy or what!

Here is a card I made which I would like to share with you.

I have coloured my image with Distress Ink Pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper. For a little bit of sparkle I have added some Sakura Star Dust clear pen to her.

I have distressed the edges of this and all my papers with Walnut Stain.

I have added some of that gauzy stuff behind my image that I see on so many blogs. Took me ages to find it and when I did I had to laugh at myself. All it is is bandage. So that's that mystery solved lol!

I have decorated the inside too.

The butterflies I have cut out of a sheet of images from Pion papers. So loved using these beautiful papers.

Here is the inside left.

I have mainly just used the image on the delicious paper and have added a feather with a few flowers and seam binding for depth.

Here is the inside right.

The oval is a nestie and the border dies are Magnolia Doohickeys.

TOMIC Challenge # 8 - Stitching Faux or Real

Today TOMIC has the start of a new challenge. The theme this week is 'Stitching, Real or Faux'.

Here is my card.

I have made this card for my daughter Claire. It was her birthday last week. I have added faux stitching to my card by using a guide to make my holes onto my card and then drawing in between each hole.

I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper. The die cuts are Magnolia's Doohickey dies. The layers of my card have been 3d with sticky cushions.

I have decorated the inside too.

I just wanted to share my little crafting helper who fell asleep on the job.

My sweet little Hettie just wants to be with me at all times and loves to sit on my desk when I am crafting. Playing with bits of string, ribbon etc., I was looking through my flowers and emptied a basket that I keep some of them in, next minute Hettie jumps in and falls fast asleep.

I hope you are well and for anyone like me who is in the middle of a heat wave hope you are keeping cool! Boy is it hot, hot, hot!

Not that the weather was remotely like that on our weeks holiday in Cornwall, which we have just returned from. Rain, rain, rain, but I still feel refreshed and had a lovely break :)

Today I would like to share with you a card I made using Tilda with Ponytail from Magnolia's Sweet Rainbow Collection.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads and cut her out and 3d her onto Magnolia's Recipe Card image. Which I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped and cut out the ribbon label twice and stuck this on top and added star dust stickle glue.

I have decorated the inside too.

Here is the inside left. I have used a Magnolia Doohickey die for the swirl and Quickutz leaf die. The flowers are Prima.

Here is the inside right. I have used Nestie dies for the circles. The corners are stamped with Stempelglede borders.

The word hugs and tiny flowers are Quickutz I have distressed these and everything else on the card with Walnut Stain. The seam binding has been distressed with Weathered Wood and I have added some muslin behind my image.

Hettie is 9 weeks tomorrow so going for her first immunisation tomorrow :( I have never owned a kitten before so it is a complete learning curve for me and I love her.

Also, for everyone who is kind enough to ask about my Grandson Luca. He is recovering from his 15th operation yesterday. All went well. He is so completely amazing. He just walks down to theatre and has a chat with the anaesthetist while they are inserting the injection (hand drink) for Luca to be put to sleep. They have never known a child that can do that bless his little heart

Today is the start of another challenge over at TOMIC. The theme this week is Summer.

I have made my card by masking Tilda onto her swimming ring. I have coloured my images with distress ink pads. The circles and sentiment shapes are nestie dies. The border is a Magnolia Doohickey die.

I have decorated the inside too. I have sprayed my whole card lightly with glimmer mist marshmallow. The stickles I have added are platinum and star dust.

The leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.

I hope you are all well and are enjoying the start to your weekend!

Today I have a card to share with you using one of the new images from the Sweet Rainbow Collection from Magnolia.

I have used Tilda Playing Hopscotch. I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. I have distressed the edges with walnut stain and the stickles on the edge are Silver Ice. The border is a Magnolia Doohickey die Old Swedish Lace. The swirl is Heart Swirl Branch. I have used Sweet Rainbow papers 12 x 12 and 6 x 6.

I have also decorated the inside of my card.

Here is the inside left. I have stamped the Magnolia flowers onto bazzill so I have coloured it with Coloursoft pencils. The circles are nesties dies. The stamping around the edges are Stempelglede grunge.

The inside right. The leaves are Doohickey dies. Small flowers ek success.

The stickles I have used on Tilda are star dust and I have used clear glitter sakura pen on the hopscotch markings.

The Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge - Birthday.........

We the Magnolia Design Team are today very excited, as today is the first day of our very first challenge TOMIC!

We are celebrating a very special birthday. Our very own Magnolia Mummy Pauline's. Who designs all that is sweet and gorgeous at Magnolia. So, we thought what a great way for our challenge to start off is to have the theme Birthday.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for a very sweet friend's birthday.

I have coloured these Magnolia images with distress ink pads. I masked Tilda in front of this Magnolia fence. I have distressed all my edges with walnut stain.

I have also decorated the inside.

Here is the inside left. I have die cut the borders, butterfly and leaf swirl using Magnolia's dies. Just love them all, they go so perfectly with Magnolia's images.

I have used a nestie for cutting the bazzill to write my message on.

Oh I am so glad to be back in blog land. It was horrible yesterday not being able to visit with you. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Today I would like to share a card I have made using Magnolia's Tilda with Amaryllis - Merry Little Christmas Collection.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. The background has been distressed with pumice stone and the edges have been distressed with walnut stain.

The flower has been die cut using Magnolia's Doohickeys Peony Petals dies. These have been sprayed with glimmer mist, edged with walnut stain and stickle glue. The leaves are a Magnolia Doohickey Leaf die.

I have decorated the inside too.

Here is the inside left which has another die cut flower.

Here is the inside right. I used EK success punch for the tiny flowers and liquid pearls dotted around the paper edge.

The stickles I have added are star dust and I have also added Sakura clear glitter pen too.

I hope you are all well and have had a good week.

Today I would like to share with you a card I have made.

I have coloured my image with distress ink pads and stamped with versafine black onyx. The background is distressed with pumice stone and the edges of this and all my papers have been edged with walnut stain. I have added some delish material that my sweet friend Chris sent to me on my card. Thank you so much Chris I love it!

I have decorated the inside of my card too.

Here is the inside left. I have used Magnolia's Dohickeys dies for the swirl and the border.

Here is the inside right. The square for a sentiment to be written on is a nestie die. The swirl stamps are Prima.

Here is a close up of the flower detail. I have added star dust glitter glue for some lovely sparkle.

Hello,

Here we are another Holiday weekend. I hope you have lots of great things planned. I am going to be in my garden and enjoy the beautiful weather. Yesterday I was glued to the television from 8am to 11.30pm watching the Royal Wedding and then all the footage again. I ate up every last minute of it and loved every magical moment! Huge congratulations to such a beautiful couple!

I have made a card with celebration in mind using Magnolia's Tilda with Balloon from the You are so Special collection.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper.

I have distressed the background with pumice stone and edged this and everything on the card with walnut stain.

I have die cut the tag and fence using Magnolia's Doohickey dies. The butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.

I have added some gauze around my card and the stickle glue I have added is star dust.

I have decorated the inside of my card.

The two little tags are quickutz.

The oval die cuts are nestablities. The button was a gift from my sweet friend Serena thank you!

Hello,

First I would like to wish you all a very Happy Easter. It is so wonderful to have the long weekend start here and I hope you have lots of happy times!

Today I have made a card using this sweet Tilda from Magnolia's You are so Special Collection.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. The edges on this and all my papers has been distressed with walnut stain. The oval dies are nesties. The stickles I have added are Star Dust.

I have decorated the inside too.

Here I have used the Doohickey Magnolia Tag die. To get the border. I embossed the die only onto some bazzill and cut around the edge. Then I die cut the tag using some of this delicious Prima paper to go inside the border.

Here I used a nestie for you to write your message on and punched the flowers using the tiny EK Success punch.

Here you can see some of the flower detail I have used Wild Orchid flowers and stamens. Then added some of my trusty sprinkly spronkly Star Dust.

Here you can see a bit more dimension. I have added 3d cushions under my two layers of card to get depth to my card.

Hello,

I hope you all had a great week and have lots of good things planned for the weekend.

Today I would like to show you a card I have made using one of the Magnolia Mini 6 x 6 papers. The one I have used in this card is Turquoise Butterfly.

I have stamped Tilda with Butterfly Dress from the Butterfly Dreams Collection with versafine black onyx, onto 300gsm water colour paper and then cut her out.

I have used a nestie shape for my background. I have distressed this with pumice stone and edged this and everything else with walnut stain. The leaves and swirl are Magnolia Doohickey dies.

I have covered an Embelliscrap button with some Magnolia 12 x 12 Spring Butterfly paper and threaded this with green thread. The ribbon is bias binding which I have sprayed with home made distressed water in a mini mister using weathered wood and crinkled it up and left it to dry.

The stickles I have added are Star Dust, Silver Ice and some Sakura clear glitter pen. I have also added teeny tiny half pearls to her shoes.

The sun has got his hat on here again! I hope you too are enjoying some lovely Spring weather. It is so much easier to get up to.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made using one of the new Magnolia Mini 6x6 papers. They are just so perfect for card making and I have really loved using it.

I have used one of the new designs from the latest Butterfly Dreams Collection. Pink Butterfly. Such a pretty colour and love those butterflies. My sweet image is also from this collection Tilda with Straw Hat.

I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. Stamped with Versamark black onyx. I have used some Quickutz corners to frame her with.

The Magnolia butterfly and tag have been clear embossed before cutting out.

The border and detail behind the flowers are Magnolia Doohickey dies.

The sparkle I have added is star dust stickles and sakura clear.

I have distressed all the edges of my card with walnut stain.

The detail on the tag are rub ons by Doodlebug.

I hope you are all well and I am so happy as we have reached the first day of Spring! It is very chilli con carne at the moment though, but I am so please to finally be in March!

I have made a card today using a Mini Magnolia image.

I have cut mini Tilda out and placed her in front of a Magnolia background scene die cut using a Nesties circle. The Magnolia flower spray I cut out from a Magnolia Kissing Gate stamp. I sprayed this and the background image with glimmer mist and the stickles that I have added are Star Dust.

The border die and swirl are Magnolia Doohickey dies.

I have coloured with distress ink pads and everything has been distressed with walnut stain.

Today I would like to share with you a card I made using one of Magnolia's You are So Special Collection.

I have used distress ink pads for colouring. I 3d the balloon to sit outside the circle. I have distressed everything with walnut stain. The stickles are star dust and platinum. I heat embossed the sentiment and heart with clear embossing powder.

I just wanted to share with you how well my grandchildren Luca and Isabella are doing now. Luca's eyes are a lot better and with his continued treatment and care by those amazing consultants they are keeping well. Isabella is a different baby now she has had her tonsils and adenoids removed. So my daughter Claire can now take a deep breath at last!

To help restore Luca's confidence he is doing some modelling and here he is on the set for Sainsburys with his little sister Isabella. It is so good to see them both well.

Here he is in one of Sainsbury's clothing advertisements.

I am so happy that it is the last day of January. I know I am bad wishing my life away but I so want longer daylight and warmer climes! Roll on Spring!

Today I would like to show you a card I made for the sweetest little baby girl's Christening of a gorgeous blogging friend of mine.

I have stamped baby Tilda with Versafine onyx black onto 300gsm (140lbs) water colour paper. I have coloured my image with distress ink pads.

I wanted to make an easel card but, they are a nightmare for me to photograph lol!

The stickles I have added are star dust and platinum. The die shapes are nesties which I have layered.

The lace and large flat flowers were a gift from my scrumptious friend Tab.

I have distressed everything with walnut stain. I have also used Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist on bits of my card. The corner and crown shapes are glimmer mist chips.

The hearts and tiny flowers are Quickutz dies. The border die is a Magnolia Doohickey. The leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.

The wording are Time Holtz grunge board letters and I have covered these with tattered rose distressed paint.

DT Magnolia - Edwin Bookmark...

I hope you have had a good week and that you are well.

Here is a bookmark I made using some of the Magnolia mini's.

I have masked off a house from Magnolia's town house stamp and masked this cute mini Magnolia Edwin on his bike in front.

I have stamped my images with versafine onyx black onto 300gsm (140lbs) watercolour paper. I have coloured my images with distress ink pads. The clouds are from a Magnolia mini scene stamp.

The Edwin name is punched out of a Tim Holtz letter sheet.

To make the bookmark more robust. I have covered the image and letters with Ultra Thick Embossing powder. I repeated this about 3 times.

Here is the back of the bookmark.

I embossed the Magnolia snail as well.

The stars are punched and I have added small gems in the middle.

The Magnolia paper has been distressed with Tim's distressing tool and then distressed with walnut stain.

The stickles I have added are silver. Before I embossed I also added clear sakura glitter pen to the house and clouds.

I hope you are all well, had a great weekend and are having a good start to the week!

I have made this card using one of the images from the latest release from Magnolia's You are so Special collection.

I have stamped Tilda with versafine black onyx onto 300gsm (140lbs) watercolour paper. I have coloured her with distress ink pads. The stickles I have used on Tilda are Star Dust. I have mounted her onto my nesties shape using foam stickers. I have distressed everything with Vintage Photo and used Platinum stickles on my paper and flowers. The corner swirl is a rub-on. I have cut out some extra butterflies from my dp and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch.

Magnolia DT - Mini World Magnolia...

Hello,

How are you doing? Well I hope. Today I would like to share with you a card I have made out of a small paper bag.

I have used Magnolia's Mini World images they are so super cute! I have always loved these, and at every craft fair I would spend hours going through the huge container of mini's on the Magnolia stand. I was so lucky to received some in my Magnolia dt package. So I thought I would use them to make this little bag card as they are the perfect size for it.

I have masked Tilda onto these eggs. I have coloured my images with distress ink pads onto 300gsm watercolour paper.

Here is the inside of my card. I have used nesties for my ovals.

The stickle glue I have added is platinum and stardust.

These minis are perfect for adding little touches too. Here I have masked off these flowers from a background scene and it fits perfectly on my tag.

This is the back of my card. The punched border is a Magnolia Doohickey die.

I hope you are all well and have had a great weekend!

I am enjoying getting back to normal after Christmas and the New Year and regaining my energy again lol!

I have made a card today using this sweet Tilda from Magnolia's 2010 Christmas collection. I have stamped her with Versafine black onyx onto Waterford water colour 300gsm hp paper.

I have coloured Tilda with Distress Ink Pads. I added a shading around her using Antique Linen and distressed my circle and everything else on the card with Walnut Stain.

The circles and hearts are die cut using nesties. The stickles I have used are Star Dust and Platinum. I have sprayed the flowers with Glimmer Mist Iridescent Gold. The snowflakes are a Magnolia Doohickey die.

To give some depth to my card I have used foam stickers to the circle and hearts.

I hope you are all well and have enjoyed all the new year festivities. I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year! I am shocked at how quickly we are into another year, time is sure whizzing by!

For my card to start the new year off. I have stamped my sweet Magnolia Tilda with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300gsm hp watercolour paper. I have used distress ink pads for my colouring. The sprinkly spronkly is stickles star dust.

The ovals are die cut using nesties and the swirls and lace border are die cut using Magnolia's Doohickeys. I have distressed everything with walnut stain. I have used rub-ons for the lettering on the Magnolia tag.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas....

Hello,

I hope you are all well and ready for Christmas. I managed to get out at last with the snow thawed a bit and got my Christmas food shop. So happy I was beginning to panic lol! I can't believe Santa will be arriving tonight my Grandson Luca is so excited he could burst!

I have made another Christmas card today. I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads and have distressed the background with old paper. I have edged this and everything else with walnut stain. The stickles I have added are stardust and platinum. I heat embossed the moon and the baubles with clear embossing powder.

The tag is a Magnolia Doohickey die and the flowers Wild Orchid.

Well I will say goodbye now and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones the joy and magic of Christmas and thank you so much for your visit. My family will be visiting Christmas and Boxing day I can't wait to be spending this special time with them.

I hope you are all well and your Christmas preparations are going well. The winter freeze has hit me again and I am looking out at a lot of snow. If you too are affected by the winter chill please take care and wrap up warm. Me, I am staying put until it has thawed a bit.

Wanted to make a card to remind me of warmer days. Well, I can dream can't I. I have coloured my image with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with pumice stone and I have edged this and everything else on the card with walnut stain. The circles are die cut with nesties and the flowers are ek success. The swirl is a Doohickey die and the butterfly is cuttlebug. I have also cut out a couple of the butterflies from the paper to 3d them.

Santa Coming to Town.....

First of all can I say a humongous thank you to you all for your lovely words of support during Isabella's illness. I am thrilled to say that she is recovering brilliantly now and we can at last think about getting ready for Christmas. So big hugs to you all for your kindness.

I have actually managed to make a card and boy it was so great to get my fingers inky. I have stamped my Magnolia image with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300gsm hp water colour paper. I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with pumice stone and I have edged this and everything else on the card with walnut stain. The Magnolia snowflakes were stamped with versafine grey and heat embossed.

The little fence is a Magnolia Doohickey die and I have added stardust stickles and that puffy snow stuff. The Magnolia trees were stamped with versamark and heat embossed with glitter embossing powder.

A Christmas Star....

Hello,

I hope you are all keeping well and if you are snowed in keeping warm! My poor Daughter Claire has been through the mill this last week. Baby Isabella had her tonsils and adenoids removed and ear drums drained which then resulted in a secondary infection caught in hospital so Isabella has been so poorly. Resulting in us all having to travel miles each day to the hospital. Then hospital's being healthy places Claire and I caught a virus in there so I am now on the steroids again with asthma and poor Isabella is still unwell I am willing her to recover it is just so sad to see her suffering. So I really hope that you are all managing to step away from the virus!

Today I have made a Christmas card using one of the latest Magnolia released Merry Little Christmas Collection stamps. I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads stamped with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 140lb 300gsm hp paper. The background has been distressed with pumice stone and I have edged this and everything else on the card with walnut stain. The cuttlebug snowflakes I have painted with pewter crackle paint. The stickle glue is star dust. The leaves are a martha stewart punch.

The circles are nestablities and the borders are a Magnolia Lace die. I have used Cosmo Cricket rub ons for text and snowflakes. The ribbon is binding tape.

How are you all doing brilliantly I hope! I have some exciting Magnolia news to share with you today.

First of all Magnolia Inspiration is having a totally new look!

This will all be happening on the 1st of December! So please do go and check that out, remember the 1st of December!

There are also exciting new developments occurring behind the scenes to the Magnolia Ink Magazine. There are going to be different formats and styles etc., so I am really looking forward to seeing the new changes they have in store for us!

Here is a card I made using this sweet Tilda and Edwin image. I have stamped my image with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300gsm hp watercolour paper. I have coloured my image with distress inks. The background has been distressed with weathered wood and this and everything on the card has been edged and distressed with walnut stain.

The stickles I have added are silver ice and star dust. I have sprayed the flowers and doily with iridescent gold. The tag and butterflies are clear heat embossed. The border is die cut using a Magnolia Doo Hickey die. The leaves are Nellie punched and embossed.

Today I have made a card using one of the sweet Magnolia latest release images that I have fallen in love with. I have coloured Tilda with distress ink pads and stamped her with versafine black onyx onto 300gsm watercolour paper. I am having a bit of a Magnolia Doohickey craze and so I have used the flower, leaf, swirl and tag on this card. The smaller flowers are EK Success punched. I have distressed everything with walnut stain and the stickle glue is star dust.

Totally Gorjuss Challenge - GDT....

I hope you are all fit and well and have had a great week. Today I am very excited as I am off to the NEC in Birmingham. I am so looking forward to seeing lots of crafters there and of course shopping it's the law!

I have had the honour of being asked to guest design for the Totally Gorjuss Challenge this week. Thank you so very much for inviting me I was so thrilled to join you. We have been given a sketch to follow designed by one of the Gorjuss girls Net. Thank you so much Net it was a pleasure to work with.

I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with vintage photo. I have heat embossed the sentiment and the flowers. The little seals on the parcels I have added Glossy Accents for a shine. The leaves are a Martha Stewart punch. The stickle glue I have used is gold and star dust.

Sweet Lucia Tilda.....

I hope you are all well and having a good week!

I have fallen in love with the new Magnolia Christmas images just released and just had to have this little sweet Lucia Tilda.

I have stamped Tilda with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300gsm HP watercolour paper. I have coloured her with distress ink pads. The stickle glue I have added is Star Dust. I also had to buy the Magnolia DooHickey swirl die. This I have distressed with walnut stain.

The snowflakes are a Cuttlebug die. I have used picket fence crackle paint on two and glimmer misted them with iridescent gold and distressed them with walnut stain. The third one I used some brushed pewter crackle pain and also distressed with walnut stain.

The bottom layer of Magnolia paper I have stamped the Magnolia holly swirl onto this I have then gone over the stamped swirl with sakura clear stardust pen and added dark red sakura stardust pen to the berries.

The edge of the paper I have distressed with walnut stain and then edged with silver krylon pen.

Welcome Christmas....

It is such a cold and crispy morning but with beautiful sunshine here. Hope you too are enjoying beautiful autumn weather. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to you all for your lovely caring wishes for Luca. I told him and he was very happy. The operation went really well and he is back to normal, his happy, bouncing enjoying life to the full self. Your support means so much to me so big hugs to you all!

I got my Magnolia Stamp Club Kit in the post and they are so sweet! Just had to ink up this little sweetie. I have stamped her with Versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300gsm hp water colour paper.

The flowers are sprayed with iridescent gold glimmer mist.

I stamped the snowflake stamps with Stazon brown onto acetate and on the reverse side to the ink I covered the image with dries clear glue and sprinkled this with glitter. Then when dry I cut the snowflakes out. I clear embossed the sentiment which I stamped with Aged Mahogany.

I hope you are all well and good. Autumn is here in my garden with leaves falling like crazy! My poor husband has so many trips to the re-cycle tip it is not true by the end of it the car knows it's own way there!

I have made this card using one of the latest Magnolia images. I have stamped her with Versafine Black Onyx onto Waterford 300gsm water paper. The background is distressed with antique linen and edged with vintage photo. I have coloured Tilda with Distress Ink Pads. I have used a crafting knife and cut around the leaves, clock and flowers on the Websters paper and slipped the image behind these. I have also cut some of the elements from the paper and added these around Tilda. The leaves are punched and embossed and the butterflies are also punched. The stickles I have added are Star Dust.

I have also received this award from the gorgeous Georgia and Kate. Thank you so very much for passing this onto me you are so sweet. I would like to pass this onto everyone who visits my blog as a big thank you!

The flowers have been glimmer misted and the stickles are guess what star dust!

I have masked Tilda over the Magnolia watering can. These have been stamped with versafine black onyx onto Waterford 300 gsm water colour hot pressed paper. The background has been distressed with stormy sky and this and everything else on the card has been edged with walnut stain. The stickles I have added are star dust. I have sprayed the butterflies with iridescent gold glimmer mist.

The tiny flowers on the scrummy Magnolia fence die are quickutz.

I have stamped my image with versafine black onyx onto waterford 300 gsm water colour paper. I have coloured this with distress ink pads. The background is distressed with spun sugar and the edge of this and everything else is distressed with walnut stain.

The hearts are a nestie die and the leaf punch is a martha stewart. The added stickles are tiara.

This part is just the bit of the garden where we keep our recycling bin and logs for the fire etc., and then one morning we woke to find the ring. Magnolia Doily heaven....

Hope you are all well and having a great week. I can't believe the weather the last couple of days here it is so HOT and sunny I even went to the seaside yesterday. So hope you too are enjoying the last little bits of good weather.

I was so happy when I got home too as I had a parcel waiting for me from Crafts U Love with some of the new Magnolia dies and just had to use the new Doily Die. I love it and know I will be using it lots more. The lace detail matches her socks which is what I love about the Magnolia products they pick up little details like that and it is so much easier for your card to flow. I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads and die cut this with a nestie oval. This and everything else on my card I have distressed with vintage photo. The sparkle is star dust stickles.

I was very thrilled to be invited to guest design for this week's ABC Challenge. The theme this week is Distressing. Thank you so much for the honour of joining you girls.

I have stamped my Magnolia Image with Versafine black onyx onto Waterford water colour paper. I have coloured this with distress ink pads. The heart and swirl is Tim's grungeboard shapes which I have painted with crackle paint and distressed with walnut stain. I have sprayed these and the flowers with iridescent gold glimmer mist. The leaves are punched and embossed using a Nellies Choice punch. The bazzill flowers are quickutz. The stickles I have used are star dust. All my papers are distressed with Tim's distressing tool and inked with walnut stain.

Well, it was such an honoured to be featured amongst these incredibly talented ladies and I thank Ashild so much for this wonderful opportunity it was such a such a pleasure! Stupendous Saturday......

Hello,

Here we are at the weekend yay! I have had quite a hectic week. Our decorator is still beavering away and this time in our bedroom which with me being a creature of habit has been so hard. Living in the middle of the room. Not being able to read at night as no curtains or table lamp. Plus trying to find everything that I moved each day just to get ready. But, I am pleased to say he has now finished our room and I can today put it all back together again phew! I would like to share with you today a Wedding Frame I made for Crafts U Love.

I stood it next to a silver candle lamp that my daughter Claire bought for me. I love it Claire knows just what I like I am so lucky to have her. I first of all painted the frame with Ranger's paint dabbers in white. Then I sprayed it with iridescent gold glimmer mist. Then I coloured my Magnolia images with distress ink pads.

I also added star dust stickle glue for my sprinkly spronkly.

I used the new Magnolia Doo Hickey dies which I love! Here is the Swirl and Leaf and the Flower. Which has all been glimmered and stickled to death.

I added crackle paint to the tag and here you can see the teeny tiny stamps that I bought at the NEC from the Magnolia stand which I love to use.

Here is the other reason that I have been anxious over. My adorable Grandson Luca. He started school this week and I was more nervous than him. Here is is on his second day of school on a visit to me to show me his school uniform and I am pleased to report everything was great! ( I love the socks just like my Son used be neither up nor down) As you can see by the smile on his face he is so happy to be a big boy now and loves school another phew! Unfortunately, he has to have another operation on his eyes next week. Which will disrupt his settling in so please say a little one for him that the operation is successful and that it doesn't affect his starting his new school. Needless to say I will be all over the place, but I know that he is in good hands at Great Ormond Street hospital those surgeons are geniuses!

Motivet 1st of the Month Sketch Challenge......

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Today is the start of a 1st of the Month Sketch Challenge over at the Motivet blog. Here is my card following Stephanie's fabulous sketch! Loved playing with this Stephanie thank you.

I have coloured my image with distress ink pads. Stamped out with versafine black onyx onto Waterford water colour paper. I have distressed the background with spiced marmalade and edged this and everything else with vintage photo. The stickles are silver ice and star dust. The bats and spider are heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The border is a fiskars and the stars are a punch.

Sweet Farewell Tilda.....

Hello,

How are you today? Hope you are well and looking forward to the weekend. We have a Bank Holiday this weekend here so an extra day which will be lovely! I have now admitted defeat on the weather front though :(. So bring on the Autumn and all it's stunning glory I now say!

Today is a very sad day for me as my gorgeous Grandson has his last day at Nursery School. He will be starting school this new term and he is growing up much too quickly for my liking. This is the card that I made for his Nursery teacher Laura. She is just the loveliest sweetest girl ever and has cared for him like he was her own. We have been so blessed with Luca going to his wonderful Nursery Peter Bunny and I will miss picking him up from such a caring, loving environment.

I have coloured my Magnolia image with distress ink pads. The stickles are Star Dust. I have edged and distressed everything with vintage photo.

Here is a close up of the sweet Magnolia tag die. The letters are quickutz.

Hello,

Hope you are had a fabulous weekend. I was crafting utter bliss! Having the upstairs decorated now that downstairs is finished and I could sneak into my makeshift craft room as the decorator doesn't work weekends. It is killing me waiting for it all to be finished. But, will be so happy to see it all bright and fresh.

Here is a card I made using one of the new Motivet images. Baby Dexter he is so cute! I have stamped my image with versafine black onyx and coloured with distress ink pads onto Waterford watercolour paper. The sparkle is Star Dust stickle glue. I have edged this and all my details with vintage photo. The stars and photo hinges are quickutz. The scalloped border is fiskars.

Hello,

Hope you are well and are having a great start to your weekend. So muggy here at the moment and it was so hard to sleep last night. Hopefully it will clear soon I am still clinging to the hope of an Indian summer!

My card today was made for a sweet friend who is celebrating the birth of a beautiful Grandson. I have stamped my image with black versafine onto Waterford 300 gsm watercolour paper. I have diecut some nestie ovals and 3d them with sticky pads. The border is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die absolutely love them. The stickles I have used are Silver Ice and Star Dust.

Hello,

Hope you are all well and your week is off to a good start. The weather here has not been so good, but I am still clinging to the hope that it will pick up again before we turn into autumn. This year is going way too fast!

I have made an easel card today. I have used the sweet Magnolia Pirate Tilda with the background from the latest Magnolia stamp club kit. I have coloured my images with distress ink pads. These have been stamped onto Waterford watercolour paper with black versafine.

The circles are die cut from nesties and the stickle glue is star dust. I have embossed the shells again with glitter embossing powder and distressed these with tattered rose and edged with tea dye. I have edged all my papers with vintage photo, after distressing them with Tim's distressing tool. I have sprayed my flags and butterflies with iridescent gold glimmer mist.
